Buy the ref so you can hold 86 times without a points deduction? Brilliant!

Hold? well if look at it differently was abril holding as much as observers say , he just stood his ground at times and didnt stand square on and had his right hand up guarding which didnt give rios much to attack, Rios was the one trying to hit on the inside much ti his frustration, he could have kept his space and tried to fight that way right???

Erm no ofcourse not he`d have got his ears further boxed off!!! :patsch So as for the holding stuff it was as much Rios fault as it was Abril ... Its called a clash of styles but rios fans chose to blame Abril.

But as rudyard has said why should abril fight to Rios strengths, how about rios try and keep space???? And yes you know why not.

You are one of a slim minority

I never scored the fight and won't watch it again. At the time there was someone defending his score card and getting nothing but ****. I suggest folks go round by round and defend why they awarded rounds as they did. Guess what? Got a taker to do that who scored it for RIOS and NONE, ZERO would do it for Abril? Why was that? They just continued the shout down that they didn't NEED to explain there scorecards cuz the herd automatically wins.

And guess what. I did score Pac/Marquez. It was after the fact and I intentionally gave every round I though feasible to Pac to see if I could have him winning. That was an extremely hard fight to score and I scored some rounds based on a single punch because there was lots that didn't land clean. Watched it in HD before I even pretended to try and score it. Marquez has a way of fighting long with his arms but the punches might look good but don't do damage. That is, not really effective. I score fight first, boxing match second.

If I watched something for who made the most money I'd follow stockbrokers.

i had it a draw as dirrell used his skills too negatively whereas Abril stood his ground out jabbed and out landed and nullified Rios attributes. If dirrell had stood his ground more and used angles with his movement to counter and make froch pay he`d have got the nod from me

Oh, that's right. As a Brit you have to admire the hook'n hold because of Hatton. My bad.

ha ha ha, dont be so prejudice! Say if Abril had fought Hatton and done the same i would have congratulated him, ive booed and shook my head when watching a fight where the brit got the win but didnt deserve it
