No but he could've stayed down till the count of 7 and composed himself a bit and then run around this guy with his guard glue'd to his head (Like the new Khan would probably do if he was in trouble). There could have been many outcomes and a guy like Mitchell just made him miss everytime.
Look bottom line is, Khan fought stupidly in that fight. he charged in to a puncher and got caught. If he had of just taken his time, got a look at Prescott for a round or 2 and then boxed, he would have won that fight all night long. Prescott was just swinging for the fences, he would have got countered easily. Just Khan at the point in time, was naive cos he got used to blasting guys out. You fight wreckless against a puncher, you will go down if you are caught flush, great chin or not, it happens to the best. I don't think his chin is glass, may not be the strongest but I think it's not too bad as people make out.

Mayweather isn't a knockout puncher, he stops fights on accumulation...wearing down fighters behind a top notch defence. but it's stupid of golden boy to be hyping a Khan-Mayweather fight when he hasn't fought the likes of Maidana, Alexander/Bradley, Marquez etc.
