Battle of the massive geezers. One goes onto chase the Londsdale belt, the other ends up on the next Prizefighter. Who takes it?
Ain't seen enough of Towers. Larry is amongst the crudest fighters I've ever seen but there can be no doubt he can whack.
I'd go with Towers, he's quite fast for a heavyweight and carries a dig, if he sticks behind the jab he'd either win on points or force a late stoppage i think!
Tough to call, Towers chin has not been tested yet but as long as he can get through Olubamiwo's early attacks he can box his way to a UD or a late stoppage. Would not suprise me if Olubamiwo sparked Towers out though.
larry has minimal talent but a learner. also learning to roll his shoulder and has some punch. might go with olubamiwo
It was not Towers I saw....**** knows who it was....Towers was waaay to big be him. The next heavyweight Prizefighter should include... Larry Albumyou Richard Towers Chris Burton Martin Rogan Ian Millivanilli David Price Michael Sprott And a good level import......
Towers easily all he has to do is keep him at bay with the jab a bit let Larry chase him for a round or two then when he tires take the fight to him and he will win an easy UD Towers has the size to keep him at bay and you only have to take Larry a few rounds and he will tire
Towers. Think Larry would struggle to get past the reach and Richard has good handspeed. Catches him on the way in.
I agree, if Towers keeps it long and sensible he can win quite convincingly backing big Larry up onto a backhand as and when needed...:yep It will be good to see if he kops one on the whiskers what he's got...:yep :bbb :bbb :bbb
Towers has the reach and movement, but I've never seen his chin tested. Olubamiwo has the power to KO anyone but he starts breathing out his arse by the 2nd round.
i haven't seem Towers, but I've seen Larry a few times - and whether he wins this or not, he will never get anywhere near the Lonsdale. Of that I am convinced.
