Or maybe they are just being responsible and not ignoring the fight is happening. This episode of ringside would of been planned and they was always going to talk about the fight. The question is next week what do they do when trying to talk about a fight with no footage to show?
Well it was absurd for the Khan camp to think Sky would shift the Real v Barca game and put Khan on SS1. Was never going to happen!!
A British World champion defending his title against an undefeated British European champion should trump Real vs Barca quite easily but unfortunately that isn't the case.
Nah, last night was meant to be a 'Behind the Ropes' programme before the Khan fight got axed. I suppose they still had loads of unused footage saved for that programme they fitted in last night. That programme seems to be a bit cursed really. The last one got pulled the night before after the Chisora v Klitschko fight was called off, and now this one as well. From watching Haye v Harrison, it didn't seem a cheap programme to make, so there is a few quid down the drain from the two cancelled shows.
Not when that European champion is unknown. Barcelona v Madrid is huge as it is nevermind the circumstances regarding this particular match.
True and maybe it might have if world titles meant anything. Even the casuals don't give a toss about who's a world champion anymore.
I don't rate woodhall that much as a pundit and don't think he's that knowledgeable. When he was talking about the Berto/Ortiz fight last night he seemed to think Berto was a Huge puncher and his only attempt of an interesting point about the fight was that Berto hadn't stopped the Southpaw he had faced in Collazzo (he didn't even mention that that fight was extremely close and many had Collazzo winning because he probably didn't know). Saying that, he's not any worse than any of the other ex fighter pundits except that I reckon Jim Watt seems to follow the game more on the state side.
