Be "fat and happy" like Trinidad, Rick. I've given you lots of stick but you were a gutsy little swarmer, even with your unpleasant mugging tactics. You accomplished more than you ought. Take pride in that, and take care. :good

I really hope this doesn't happen I like Ricky Hatton he's a nice bloke, but why would he wanna come back and get beat by khan. Is money more important to him than pride?

Not sure if it is to Ricky but if the offer for a Khan fight is made with good money involved Ray will be in his ear telling him to accept no matter what the circumstances. Hope I'm wrong though, like another poster said he should retire fat and happy like Trinidad.

Amir Khan should call him out....

Call him a ducker for ducking Junior Witter...

Make disrespectfull remarks over his weight...

Maybe then Ricky Hatton will return....

Haha thats the problem with out sport....it allows for these things to actually happen. We would all laugh but joe public woulnt have a clue. They would buy it up.

In fact look at my posts on how to hype a fighter without taking risks.

Not sure Khan could live with Hatton even now.

Arm punching whilst doing athletics-style warm up drills to circle the ring ain't going to beat Hatton.

Kotelnik might have been competitive had he actually ****ing tried

OK, his punch resistance is lower, as is his stamina...... but his footwork remains pretty much the same, and he hits hard enough to put Khan into orbit.

Just get off the booze & burgers, fatty

Ha no way does Khan Management let him near Hatton yet.......they need to wait at least 18 months or so........hopefully they get to see Hatton perform horribly in a comback/hype fight and then get it on for him.....if Hatton looks good no way does the fight happen.

    Salita
    G. Rees (depends on his prizefighter results)
    J. Murray
    J. Casaymayour
    Hatton

These are all fighters that Khan would take on in the next 2 year me reckons unless he really goes for it.

Apparently they are looking at Morales....... who is even more shot than Barrera was - and at 140 will only be worse.

I'm not a Khan hater at all, but the way his career has been managed is an absolute joke. Kept away from punchers, even domestic level ones, all the time, kept away from pressure fighters.... even counter punchers FFS!

Really, I hope he does well in his career, but can't help being a bit cynical about everything.

Thats what i heard......hence my thread on how to HYPE a fighter without taking on real risks.

Morales, Casaymayour, Castillo, Hatton could all one day be lined up for Khan.

If we didnt have a division for every pound then fighters like Khan would be forced to fight better fighters for the actual title.......in another universe he might very well improve accept he wont........they will feed him fight after fight with a huge advantage for him in one way or another.

You wont see Ricky Hatton in the ring again i dont think, if he makes a comeback hes going to be totally past it and he will most probably weigh about 18 stone. haha

I think Khan has a decent chance against Ricky right now, maybe 50/50. ricky's last 3 fights have been a mixed bag and khan continues to look better since the prescott smashing. I think its hard to judge how ricky will perform and how 'shot' he is and whether khans improvements would be enough.

Beeston what styles fighters would you say khan has fought? :yep

Going by his nature and excuses for the Pacman fight.....i reckon we will see him in a ring in late 2010 or early 2011 against someone who has a name and is shot.......or someone who is average and for a title.

Maybe we could start a catchweight division for boxing........he could be champion of the catchweights pound for pound........the trick.......he can constanly change his weight so no one can good can actually pin him down for a fight..........139 champ and then defends his title of the 141 and half pounds then goes down to defend the 138 division and then back again for 142 and one fourth division.

    38 times champion......our wicky
