Primarily small, fat/old guys with short arms and crap footwork

They have mainly been boxers - rather than bangers (Prescott aside) and a shot Michael Gomez being the sole pressure fighter.

Hatton hasn't looked great recently, but I don't see him losing to a guy like Khan, certainly not at this stage. Or at least I hope he doesn't....... the hype train would be unbearable :-(

Both Limond and Gomez both should have had him really, Prescott - who would be a domestic fighter let's be honest, cleaned him up inside a minute.

I don't doubt improvements have been made, they clearly have, but Kotelnik was as close to a made for measure world title opponent as he could find.

Without a doubt in my mind does G. Rees the 5'4welsh man get a chance with Amir.

Imagie for one second Amir taking on T. Bradley, Holt or Alexander Devon......it would shut me up for ever......

I'm not winding you up here mate, but do you not think the roach factor will have a lot to play aswell? I dont think it'll happen though TBH.

Hatton throughout his career has taken a lot of punishment.

He was brutally koed by Pacquiao last fight

    Hes made his millions

    Hes only 30/31 or whatever

    Hatton-just retire

I'm not a Khan basher really, I just have a real dislike of hypetrains..... and his was the worst British one I can remember!

Erm..... on Roach - I think his presence definitely helps, because Khan does tend to lack discipline in there at times, but Roach cannot help him in there, his ability inside isn't proven at all..... Hatton isn't the inside dynamo that he likes to think he is (Floyd proved that) but at least two or three levels above anything encountered to date.

On your last point, I'd be surprised if it happened also. Promotional issues, venue obviously - GBP will still be keen to see Hatton stateside, and the casinos will still put money up because of the tourism factor.....

He's not going to fight Khan. Neither of them want to fight each other and Ray doesn't push Ricky to do anything he doesn't want to do.

Haven't got a clue why so many of you have snidey, nasty comments to make about Ray. He's a really decent guy.

Based solely on that interview, he's OBVIOUSLY going to come back. Not sure how anyone could think otherwise, reading between the lines it was pretty clear.

I think he is trying to convince himself that he has another fight in him

'Floyd Mayweather took almost two years out of the ring and got itchy feet and came back'

I think Ricky's mindset could depend a lot on what happens on the 14th. If Pac wins and wins well, he may take solice in the fact he was just beaten by a great. If Cotto wins he may feel he still has something to prove.
I definately would'nt be writing Hatton off just yet. It's only 12 months ago he was completely dominating Malignaggi.

True, but Hatton seems to be more interested in fighting the elite rather than fighting the Malignaggi's of this world - which is a slightly more realistic class of opponent.
