Josh is very good, mark McEwan IMO is the best prospect in Scotland ( that IMO would include Charlie and Joe ham) his style would be ideal for the pros.

Let's be fair here, it was browns first fight at a new weight and that lad is a world youth champion and the Ukraine number 1 at 19 years old, he's obviously a serious talent.

Taylor got best in both his wsb fights aswell, its an extremely high level.

In the Ukrainian nationals most thought he should have got the decision, he will be the one representing then at the Olympics.

Yeah, it was a stoppage but pretty easy solution is you move back down. Hundreds of boxers have tried to move up and found it wasnt for them.

Time will tell I guess, I think that khyzniak is a future star and anyone can get caught with a shot.

If you he got beat on the nationals then our conversation is over here and you need to get your eye tested.

Rob McCracken who's one of the best coaches about seems to think he's got the ability, I will go with his opinion as opposed to yours pal.

I always think Josh gets over rated imo the young lad Ball from Greenock ran him very close in the finals and was unlucky not to get the nod also , Billy i watched young Bobo again last night and as weve discussed i think that kid will be a serious talent

I see Connor Law won his second fight last night on points having put his opponent down in late on in the fight. Anyone seen him? Believe he was in the Scottish set up and narrowly missed out on the Commonwealths after being beaten in a box off with Lewis Benson.

The fact he's on the gb surely shows he thinks he had ability? He wouldn't be on it otherwise.

I could say the same to yourself regard the nationals as u haven't spoke to anyone who thinks he didn't. I can probably imagine who your affiliated to lol.

We shall just agree to disagree pal.

Selection Process baffles me for the GB squad , Charlie Flynn never even got a sniff at GB even winning a commonwealth gold , Andrew Selby got beaten by Mcfadden , Josh Taylor looks out his depth imo at international level, The english boy Bateson gets beaten time after time yet features heavily in the squad and always given airtime on skys ringside etc , Spose its if your face fits

Many of the other scots have had trials at gb throughout the years and never been picked, simple as that. Must be because the whole amatuer setups against the scots eh lol? End of the day I think the guys running the setup down there are seeing these guys at close quarters on a daily basis andknow what there looking at a lot better than any of us do.

Batesons still very young and going to be an excellent prospect. Baffles me when people think just because someone beats someone else on a one off occasion over three rounds they are automatically the better lad. There's a bigger picture to it.

Excellent win over Warburton. Law kept it disciplined and jabbed Warburton's "Breadbox" all night. You know yourself that Warburton's no a "roll" over for anybody, but Law "baked" him last night. Warburton needs to be careful in future in case he gets "burnt"
