Juan ma is quality. Quick, powerful and a very classy operator but surely people can see the size and style of Burns causing problems for the peurto rican. It wouldn't be out the question for Burns to survive the first half of the fight and come on strong in the second. After all, Ricky has proved time and time again that he is very durable, has a granite chin and a huge amount of heart.

Na, I think I scored the first two to JuanMa, the third and fourth were closer, having Lopez taking the 3rd n Salido the 4th. But that was after half a crate of beers

    Ricky, is that you?

JuanMa is pretty slow for a Feather IMO, and Burns has a far from granite chin. He was down against Martinez and against Carl Johanneson. Arguably JuanMa is a bigger puncher than both, even up at SFW

The Martinez knockdown was just a flash kd. It was purely down to balance IMO.

Yes he was down against Martinez and while it was more than a flash knock down he recovered quickly and took a lot of solid shots after that without major problems . Against Johannsen it was body shots that put him down if i remember correctly and he still went the twelve rounds against him likewise he went 12 rounds against Alex Arthur whose another very solid puncher . Johanneson and especially Arthur were really to early in his career for him . He's improved a lot as a fighter since then . His Chin is at least above average and you can tell the guy is in amazing shape and should have a good chance of absorbing body shots as well.
JuanMa is the best fighter Ricky has hever fought by a long way and he'd still be the underdog but JuanMa would have to come up with something really special to get an early stoppage . IMO Ricky also seems like a guy who fights to his opponents level.
I dont think he'd win but it would be a competitive watchable fight and he wouldnt disgrace himself

he wasn't hurt in the first round against Martinez though was he? and he went on to take some massive hooks in that fight in which only a fighter with a very good chin could take without being badly shaken.

Also the knockdown from the head shot against johannson was when Ricky was moving back, off balance and got cought with a decent shot. He obviously was badly hurt from the body shots that night but has since then proved he's not vulnerable to the body.
