Does anyone think Frank Warren would make a match like Burns V Cook ? I think thats the fight that should be made given it was Cooks title then Martinez and then Burns, So it would be a good domestic match up. I just dont know if Frank Warren would put a slugger like Cook in there with Ricky Burns who has a questionable chin, Its a classic match up between a puncher and a boxer.

I know Burns is trained by Billy Nelson who is proven as a world class trainer, Nicky Cook is he still trained by his dad?

    Who wins this fight?

Nicky Cook has proven that he has neither the skills nor the durability to mix it at world class. He got absolutely slaughtered when he stepped up against Steve Lueveno at featherweight and then again against Martinez.

The fight would be a waste of time and I'd much rather see Burns in against a legitimate world class operator, perhaps a rematch with Martinez and then another top 5 contender.

Burns definitely does not have a suspect chin. He's only been knocked down twice from head shots, once against Johannson in which he was off balance and a flash knock down against Martinez which didn't hurt him. He also took thunderous shots from Martinez, Arthur and Johannson only to shake them off and dig in.
