    It's official, pair meet on July 16 in Liverpool.

    I like Cookie but can anyone else explain how he deserves a shot here?

    Atleast it's better than his last 2 opponents. Cook is no slouch and has mixed it at the top. I'm sure he has a lot left to give. But Burns will probably still take it.

    Personally I'd like to see Burns hold onto the title for a while so possibly we can get a Walsh vs Burns match.

    In fairness thats a bit off i would have thought,Walsh v Appleby would be good for Liams title England v Scotland:good

    NO,theres no one in UK to touch beleive me,improving all the time.:bbbNicky would have been beat by Scott, should have been beat by Arthur and will be beat by Ricky Burns

    It's a poor fight Billy, no other way about it. Cook has had one fight in 26 months against a guy with an 8-33-2 record. The fact he's all of a sudden got a ranking with the WBO is appalling.

    Billy do you honestly think Appleby deserves a shot at any title? especially after getting dominated by a very average Laryea. I Don't, he needs to prove himself.
