there was still 2 engkish judges and english ref in scotland oh the scottish judge gave it to simpson!atsch
Ican assure you he isn't mate it was purley confidence, now he has that back and a few technical ajustments watch him go!
well then what was the point of the fight? simpson was never going to stop smith therefore you must have known what the result would be!! unless you had money on smith to win on points.
I've only been to one live boxing event - Burns' most recent title defense - and I'm going to a card at the Kelvin Hall next Friday headlined by Willie Limond. Tickets have been around £40 for both - can I expect a ticket for this fight to be roughly the same? Also, I'm likely going to have to travel down on my own for the fight as I don't know anyone else who can afford it, or wants to. I know I'll likely bump into some decent folk at the arena or close to it, but how safe is Liverpool for someone travelling on their own like that? Baring in mind I've never been before...
I agree with this. And its not to denigrate Burns as a fighter. Hes shown huge improvements and has the heart of a lion.
Well Ricky now keeps the hat-trick ball. Evensen Layera and now Cooke :happy I hear Carl Johannson is next :thumbsup
Absolutely delighted to hear Young Appleby has went with Billy. He has bucketloads of talent and with the great sparring at the fighting scots gym and the ten fold better coaching (imo) he will come good. Pauls a nice young fella and I have spoke to him a few times in depth about boxing and he knows his stuff. His dad Davey is a crackin fella too who also knows his stuff. Cant wait to see him fighting with Billy in the corner coz it will be a breath of fresh air to see him get actuall good advice between rounds. If Billy was in his corner against Laryea I reckon he'd have won it pretty comfortably imo. It wont do Simpson nor Burns any harm either to have another fit, talented young fighter for sparring....and vice versa
