again as ive posted a few times on different threads , u fail to mention kastidis got beat on espn fnf by a ghanian journeyman in his next fight , and then failed a brain scan and retired , ricky deserves all the plaudits in the world for fighting that long and trying to win all the while , the mans got stones ! but the injury as u keep referring to it , for me was damage done by beltrans fists , so it cant undermine beltrans dominance simply because he injured him . ive just for the first time though hear u admit u were lucky , i know no trainer will bash there own fighter , but much like froch vs groves , honesty does wonders , best of luck to you and ricky for the new year ...

Looking forward to the Crawford fight tbh I think the Mitchell fight was enough to prove Burns was best lightweight in the UK .Hopefully Burns performs this one though. Got to admit even though he was very lucky in his last 2 i've still enjoyed Burns's reign as champ it's been good for Scottish boxing fans .Would like to see him beating Crawford fair and square .

How can you be fringe world level when he's been undefeated in over 3years and nine world title fights, get a grip.

I like this fight, I had great hope for Murray, he just seems to lose steam and burn out... pshycological more than physical I think. Or perhaps he doesn't have the physical make up for endurance, who knows?

Burns should win it, but a good fight as long as Murray's up for it and as long as it lasts.

these are the kind of fights that are far more exciting and supported than alphabet soup picked opponents. This too is what boxing is supposed to be, the best at home first and then among the TOP world opponents. Bring this one on, it'd get great coverage and make excellent money!!!

Ricky got his jaw broke, usually takes bad luck for that to happen. The shot which caught him didn't even look hard but he never seen it coming and those are the ones that do the damage. A broken jaw would affect any fighters performance. Ricky fought on like a true champion and showed plenty heart like he always does. Ok he should have never got the draw verdict but it has happened. If anyone deserves a bit of luck then its Ricky who is an absolute gentleman.

if he was an actual gentleman he would have handed that title to beltran at some point.

Now you might claim that no one would do that - BUT if you want to claim that hes a gentleman, then you have to accept that this is what a gentleman would do.

So no Burns is not a gentleman. sure he comes across as polite and humble that's not the same as being totally eglatarian.

why would you write what I just wrote?

But to call ricky a gentleman of sport is wrong - the gentleman admits when he has lost. I see nothing wrong with that statement.

If Billy doesn't answer i'll answer, Katsidis was world class, Moses ex world champion, Gonzalez showed he's world class despite being largely unknown before the fight, Beltran is also a good fighter you don't become a sparring partner for one of the best P4P fighters without being any good!
