No probably, he's proven that he's about the third best in Ghana.

Really is a horrendous fight. Commonwealth standard.

    Forgot about this thread.

Just to be clear, the  reference was at me making a thread with the afore mentioned fighters, not Fosters ending.........as the opening post probably shows.

Anyways, seems like he was ill, i did wonder in the rbr thread why he was blowing after 3.

I do understand people didnt say Foster would win yada yada if he was to face Burns, just his name popped up everytime Laryea's did, no ?

    Regarding Laryea, ****sake.......again ?

Am actually wondering if he got it in his contract with Appleby...........WIN THIS AND YOU GET TO FIGHT RICKY BURNS !!!!!!!!!! or something to that effect.......surely this type of **** happens, though never comes to fruition.

    Whats your point ?

Your talking like others have............as if Burns CHOSE to fight Laryea.

Heres my thoughts.........Laryeas promoter got him a WBO title fight, Bucklands didnt.

Or.......Laryeas last showing, got him a WBO title fight.

Fighters are judged on there last performance, no ?

The WBO and all the belts are shyte anyways according to many, arent they ?

Cant wait for the **** licking to stop when Gavin or Bellew get an easy defence of a title...........oh it wont.

Yeah well...Foster Jr's performance was more impressive than Laryea's. Sparking Kirakosyan or grinding out a win against Paul Appleby...

They're milking this easy defence...just because Laryea beat Appleby who was rumored to fight Burns they took advantage of the situation and tried to make this look legit.

This is the second 'easy' defence of his title. And not just 'easy' as in Joe Calzaghe WBO reign 'easy', but commonwealth standard, god damn awful fights that are embarrassing.

Ayes, i saw, hence why i mentioned the 3rd n 4th sentences in my post.

Am sure Bucklands would be a better opponent, as paper shows also.

Point is, he aint in that position........Laryea somehow got himself in that position.

Its amusing tbh, seeing the who beat who records being used yet this thread contains two surprise upsets already.

And thats why i find it hard to accept burns as a real world champ because to be honest i cant see his fights getting any tougher than this for a while yet
