I would love to see Burns perform like he did against Moses, a total domination of a fight. I think that would shut a lot of people on this forum up, similar to the way people were slating Garcia before he out-classed Matthysse.
Ricky Burns Is A Legend!! Always gets wrote off before a fight but theres no quit in him love going to his fights been 2 everyone since the Roman Martinez(Best Night Ive ever Had At The Boxing) & will be at every other one till he calls it a day .
But Froch has fought THE BEST in his Division. He's already fought George. Who has Ricky faced that's in their prime and Elite at the weight?
If Ricky would have won his last 2 fights by brutal knockout he would still take a load of **** from people on this forum. Maybe it's just British mentality wanting people to fail. Ricky is a nice bloke and a solid role model. Maybe he should **** someone or become a violent alcoholic as Tyson and Harrison are praised to high heaven on here by so called boxing fans.
And who else? What happened to the Broner fight? I mean there's talk of Ricky facing Crolla next year! How comes he hasn't faced Vasquez, Gamboa or Abril yet? He holds the weakest belt in the Division and seem's to be fighting nobodies. Didn't he win the belt due to JMM vacating?
Still had to beat Katsidis for the interim title though and that was no gimme fight either nearly everywhere I read it people had Katsidis smashing Ricky saying his power would be too much.

I would probably agree on balance with the rest of your latest post I am a Ricky fan but would agree he's been fortunate to retain the title the last two defenses A reasoned debater concedes when someone else is correct and that they are wrong. You claimed it was fact that Ricky has never fought the elite in any division ever but that is factually inaccurate. He's fought and beat Roman Martinez. Do you concede you were wrong? :hi:

Thats the point of being interim champ,Alex Arthur became the champ only coz Guzman gave it up,Alex never actually won a world title fight. Ricky would gladly face any of the three mentioned above, surely when he comes through this it must be done?
If it goes to the cards I just hope Crawford doesn't get robbed, the Beltran fight was a bad night for boxing, especially British boxing and an insult to Beltran, we don't want another night like that.
