I liked the Geoff Capes one better.

Its not as bad as the Hatton Insurance one though. But in the grand scheme of things its not that bad at all; didn't Pele do one a few years back about erectile disfunction?

He's a (ex) boxer in a 'role' written by TV ad men, not Richard Burton playing Richard III with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

 

A load of cash?? Yes I mean going off the past celebs on these adverts muat be earning **** loads :roll:.

Like TFFP why? He is worth about 50 ****ing mill, he is craving the attention.

 

Pele did a great service to mankind there.

He has probably improved the lives of millions of men around the world with that ad, have some respect :-(

 

Yeah but look, when you have 50 mill in a Swiss bank account you can afford to pick and choose your media opportunities. He just comes across as a complete ***** for any cash, and he doesn't look good doing it when its a trashy insurance advert.

He's got 50 mill and a promotional company and he's making ridiculous adverts. Why..........

 

From what I've heard you'd be surprised what those TV ads and voice overs earn, A damn sight more than the likes of us earn in a year!!

Again, if he has time on his hands why not do something different for the day and earn some (for him!!) pin money? Should he stop trying to make money because you think he already has enough??

 

FFS!!! Rich and famous sports stars make adverts and endorse products, it happens all the time. I know because its Ricky Hatton some people will get sand in their knickers but can we at least have a level playing field before you get on your high horse about the morality of it all??

 

Mate the proof is in the pudding with what these celebs are earning from these Churchill adverts, Skyes Walker and Eddie the Eagle are about as well known as me on the celeb circuit.

We just have different opinions on this why go and do something so ****ing stupid for an amount of money he probably makes in half a day through intrest? But Hatton want's to come across as someone who can laugh at himself so fair enough, he is doing **** like this but turned down celeb big brother? Maybe he doesn't want us to see the real Hatton.

Do you ****ers whinge like this in real life or is ESB just a venting opportunity to get things out that would sound too whiny if you started banging on about them down the pub??

I've never seen a respectable sportsman advertise something that corny. It's usually a watch or an aftershave. All I'm saying is he should pick and choose his opportunities better, its the equivelent of going on I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of Here for a little cash and limelight. It's pretty lame.
