Im not the biggest Hatton fan, since he retired one of my top 5 favs all time, Kostya Tszyu. And it wasn't that impressive a victory.

But if he is truly clean as far as drugs and alcohol, he could make some noise @ 140 and even 147.

Yeah, maybe he aint the BEST at either weight, but he's definitely top 20 in both.

His ONLY detractor was his weight fluctuation between fights. This if course, was caused by his use of illicit drugs, and alcohol.

If he completely and totally dedicates himself to this sport as he did in his teens, he could make it real interesting again for himself.

He's only like 31/32, and nowhere near past his prime. Matter of fact many fighters have rebirthed their careers that were killed because of drugs/alcohol after they found a new clean lifestyle.

Im not going to count Hatton out, only he can do that himself by getting back on drugs/alcohol.

Hatton by KO, many top 140s and 147s.
    Alcohol/drugs KO1 Hatton

Salita lacks so much skill I'm surprised even with a heavily padded record he managed to make it so far undefeated.

He's talking about 4th highest paid UK boxer.

If Hatton is secure financially, he has no reason to come back and it's not something I'd be happy to see, despite not being his biggest fan.

    :lol::rofl:patsch

Hatton sucks. He has no Chin and fights like a miniature John Ruiz.

Ha ha very good I was going to say that,

    4th is actually Bruno.

I think he made just over 17 million

It then goes Benn , Eubank

Haye and Khan are closing the gap very quckly.

    I pretty much agree here.

Except I think Salita is soft enough, that MAYBE after losing a round or two, Hatton would stop him late (at lww).

Except Malignaggi. He beat him up without doing the normal routine.

Hatton should stay in boxing. It's healthier for him to continue boxing than to go the route of Calzaghe and many others of drug addiction and alcoholism. It's not like he's taking care of himself outside the ring and honestly he takes better care of himself when he boxes.

It's best for Hatton to continue boxing until he can develop the discipline to continue training for the health benefits without being legally obligated. Also he is still a good enough boxer to fights guys like Kahn, Maidana, and others.

I'm not saying he would beat everybody in the division but with his style I can see him beating certain guys and possibly winning a title, that is if he has as much as he had when he fought Mayweather. The Hatton who fought Mayweather in my opinion beats Kahn or Maidana.

He ought to stay away from Bradley and Alexander. He has a slim chance against JMM but it wouldn't be a fight I'd want to see to be honest. Also he can take on Berto, he has the tools to beat him as Berto does not have the best chin or the best stamina, or the best boxing technique.
