Ricky Hatton DEMANDS Vegas for his ring return...

I'm not begrudging anyone making money in itself

If I had the oppurtunity to earn £5,000,000 I would take it

Its the way Ray and Ricky Hatton go about it and have gone about it their whole career - they take the **** out of people

Like Hatton said after the Mayweather knockout

"It's never been about the money for Ricky Hatton"

He had that mascot - the disabled boy.

He always puts a PR spin on things

But I don't believe Hatton is the all nice guy the fans buy into

But I am just saying how I feel

If thousands of other people want to pay their money to follow Ricky then it's their choice

I myself personally would feel a mug if I was too do this

 

I think you are being a bit harsh about James Bowes, who has been with Ricky since the start. Every sportsman uses PR to a certain extent. I think you probably need to meet the guy before you judge him.

But here is a example of a **** making money

My brother went into a kebab shop in Mumbles and asked for a Kebab and a can of coke and he paid his £4.80 and waited for his food to be prepared...........5 mins later he got his food but the bloke conviently forgot to hand over his can of coke.....lets not give te guy the benefit of the doubt here because they do it all the time...........my brother then had to remind him to give him his can........he was hoping my brother would forget about the can so he could make that extra 60p and still keep his can in the fridge........thats what a **** is making money conning people

I got nothing against the boy whatosever - he had real disabilitys - and I think unless I am mistaken he has died since - which is very sad.

But it's more to do with Hatton using some disabled boy to make himself look good like all round nice guy

Plenty of successful people help people less fortunate and sick people but none I have seen flaunt it so openly like a PR stunt

 

hatton had that kid with him from very early in his career.why do you think the worst of him on this issue? so you just couldn't believe he was genuine?

 

How Is It better financially for the fans In Vegas when It's full of casinos, bars and other entertainment to take your money?

IIRC he is still alive, he just can't fly due to his disability. If we're going to have a pop at Hatton for his relationship with this kid then thats says it all about some peoples attitude...

Some might see it as a kind gesture - and to the boy it was which is good for him.

But I just feel Hatton used that and other things to build up a particular image he wanted to portray

Thats part of the reason I dislike Hatton - he says things and wants to portray a image where he loves the fans and it's not about money - but I don't believe him - its the other way round - its all about money and just play the right kind of game to keep the fans onside for the ride and get them to all cough up their money

Everyone can see Hatton is not geniune just from the way he has ducked Junior Witter

 

The difference in airfare between New York and Vegas is fairly negliagible. New York however is far, far more expensive for hotels than Vegas. You'd be hard pushed to find a Manhattan hotel for anything less than $200 per night.

You can get a room in one of the cheap On-Strip Vegas hotels for $60 a night [try Circus Cirucs, Excalibur]

The 'problem' with Vegas is that once you get there all you want to do is spend spend spend.
