I love the way people on here criticize me and act like punch resistance is not important and make excuse after excuse why their fighter got brutally KOed.

You ever notice it is never the Chin with these idiots? It is always something else that is the reason their fighter got KOed but never the Chin according to them.:rofl

considering hes head has been hes defense for all this time.......hes punch resistance had held up pretty well before pacman just annihilated him. I agree he should retire---and i rarely say that about fighters. It seems theres no way he can change hes ways

Modern boxing fans can't seem to grasp that punch resistence is THE most important factor in determining success in boxing. If you don't have a chin - or as in Hatton or Jones's case, if your chin goes way downhill - you are in BIG trouble in this game.:yep

Fans just want to make excuses for the poor punch resistance of fighters. My favorite as you know, is the "that punch woulda KOd anybody" bull****. Like how do these people know this exactly?? Can't be that the guy can't talke a good shot anymore....oh, no, never!!!:patsch:patsch:lol:

Zakman, punch resistance isn't the most important factor in determining a fighters success. That's a load of bollocks.

As for the rest of your statement, I pretty much agree. Hatton used to have world class punch resistance. But now it seems that slightest of contact on the chin seems to bother him.

I think that it's time for him to call it a day.

I'm a huge Ricky fan, even before this fight I didn't think he would beat Bradley. Bradley is the future of the division.

WTF is TommyV and his 2 picture comparison of Rico and that monster?
I need a good laugh today.
Sorry Rico, even you have to admit it's humorous.

I really like Desert Storm, but I think you're stretching it a bit. I wish he could generate some more power in his punches.

I don't think Hatton's jaw is glass....he just has taken to many shots over his career and it's time to say he's done....he just can't take anymore.

Wouldn't say he got a glass jaw, but he's lost sumthin now. He needs to go out before he gets hurt.

Rico, your a chump and you have said almost every fighter in the history of boxing has a glass jaw, Hatton, Calzaghe, RJJ. And mention Glass jaw in every single post you make

I can guarantee the second Pac or May get Ko'd they will have a glass jaw also.

To be fair I wouldn't have got up after the second KD. because that was a good shot as well.
