Always liked Hatton and was devastated after his losses to May/Pac. I think if he wants to come back he needs to do it very soon. Personally, I really don't see why people were are asking him to retire as he has plainly expressed his desire to come back and fight on this vid. If he wants to come back then get behind him. He obviously wasn't happy about how he showed himself in his last fight and clearly feels he can do a lot better and go out with a bang, so i say get behind him and let him prove himself, you know you will all be watching. Lately he has expressed he might just concntrate on promoting which is fair enough and i will back him in that as well. I hope he makes his official decision soon though.

People will disagree with me here but I think that he should never have left Billy Graham...:yep He got his ass kicked at 147 by PBF, Joe Cortez was nowhere to be seen when that check left hook landed...:yep Collazo gave him a shock after the 15 second knock down, another 2 rounds and he would have walked through Hatton...:yep This ain't hate, with the exception of the Magic Man I went to all Hattons fights in Las Vegas...:yep At 140 he was up there with them all at his peak, which IMO was v Kostya Tyszu, and he only started pulling away in that fight from Round 7...:yep If he comes back it's just about the greenbacks, plain and simple...:deal
If it aint broke dont fix it. Graham was PERFECT for Rickys high tempo style. But Ricky had dillusions of granduer after going on to achieve far more than he expected. Theres no trainer alive or dead that can do anything for Hatton. His style is horribly flawed and when compared against the best in and around his weight he will always get beat up. Time to face the facts Ricky.
think thats right about billy graham, i think he knew all hatton ever needed to know, you have to play the hand your dealt and hatton played his hand very well. against tyszu he was on fire and that version of him would have been a handful for anyone and would have been much more competitive against paquiao
No it's ****ing not at all. Hatton was very very strong at the weight in them days and was pumped up to **** that night. By no means do I think he'd have won by any stretch but a peak Hatton who hadn't been boiling down to the weight for 4 years would not have been destroyed in two by Pac. Maybe 7/8 but not 2.
Tell me precisely "how" you quantify Hattons fight with Kostya vs his peformance with Pac? Seriously how exactly do they correlate? This is nothing more than a semantic strawman argument. The FACTS are these. Hatton fought a guy who had one foot in retirement and despite what looked like a horrible foul fest pulled off a great result for himself. When put in with a live body Pac wiped the floor with him. Furthermore Hatton made a career of beating up bums in his prime to the tune of the WBU. Im not interested in the slightest in moot arguments based on nothing more than useless conjecture about "if" "what" and "maybe's".
you dont think hatton was on fire that night? by his standards? you dont think that version would have been more competitive? i'm no expert, maybe you are, but i dont think thats rubbish,
