    I like Hatton but the way he treated his body he was always going to fall apart suddenly and fairly catastrophically when he reached his late twenties/early thirties he should consider himself lucky that when it went south finally he got koed quickly by the guy considered the best around at the time.

    Much as I loathe to agree with Betty, Lazcano had him on ***** street (more than once) he's done as done can be , he surely doesnt need the money, so walk.

    how many times was he bigger than his opponent ?
    he fought opponents about his own size.

    I think he should retire and instead share his talent by training fighters. Who knows he could also excell on that level. To think we could have another Freddie Roach of England version in the future. :good

    He shouldn't fight again...he has nothing left to prove to anyone...he was an entertaining fighter and accomplished a great deal. Let's leave it at that!! He would be a great promoter or color commentator.

    WTF?? Love him or hate him Wlad is one of the most gifted heavyweights ever. How many heavyweights do you know that can hook off the jab? Not many. How many do you know that are 6'6 245lbs? None.

    He will go for another three month training camp, he will have no choice but to committ himself to that! He just does not fight better at any weight above Light-Welter. However, I do have reservations about him making 140lbs.

    Against Pacquiao, I think he struggled badly to make 140lbs. Hatton is clearly missing the expert knowledge & guidance of Kerry Kayes, whom I think Ricky should at least ask to come on board once again!

    It may sound like a broken record, but Hatton will be 31 in October, the weight will only get harder & harder to shift, so having someone like Kayes is massive imo!

    Hatton won't be short of guys who want him in the opposite corner. Juan Diaz is up for it, as is Khan & Malignaggi has said he wants a rematch.

    Interesting to note, that Ricky has said for every fighter who has fought on too long, there's always a guy who was more successful when coming back. I just don't see how he feels he can be more successful because he certainly is not beating guys like Mayweather, Pacquiao or Cotto!

    I wish him well whatever he decides to do!
