    I also heard he was getting on the **** on a few occasions in camp while preparing for this fight !

    Yes and a southpaw as well. Ricky always struggled with southpaws.

    I haven't watched the fight in years, but remember scoring it by 1 point to Hatton. The knockdown being the difference.

    That said, it felt like he lost the fight because of the damage he took towards the end, barely hanging on to survive the 12 rounds. It almost ended as badly as AJ's US debut (although Ricky had fought in the US before, notably in his 2nd pro fight on the Hamed/Kelly undercard)
