smart move by his team IMO. you never know how your going to comeback after a KO loss like ricky suffered. take the fight to get some confidence back.

Hey whats the problem? Ricky's simply reverted back to form! This guy couldn't crack an egg with a record like that. By the way WHO IS HE AGAIN?

this is a good opponent for ricky,he apparantly has some real skills with a very solid record and some decent opponents.maybe he is a tune up for a malignaggi fight in autumn,i dont know if they have a similar style but im guessing through their records and KO record they do.

I've never seen this guy fight before but I'll take a wild leap of faith and say he'll present more of a challenge than Gavin Rees.:D

I understand that he is getting a comeback bout, but damn ricky... You have a POWER PUNCHING animal knocking on your door in Paulie.... Sign the contract get in there beat him up, take his title, kill PM's career (oh God please end his career you would be doing a lot of us a favor)... Knock his hair gel all over the arena, rebreak his face, make a lot more money than this current fight.... then do whatever you want to do.

I'm with ya. I admit to having never been a Ricky fan (at all!!), but if he came over here and handed Paulie his ass and shut him the **** Up!! I would probably go get a Hatton tattoo.

The thing about it is that Hatton's fans have proven that if he gets quality competition, they will go wherever the fight happens. If the fight happened in MSG (hypothetically b/c i think hatton shouldn't HAVE to go to NY) Paulie would have his 10 or so fans and Hatton would bring the rest. Hatton would beat him up in his own backyard and you can get your tat...

Hatton needs to fight every 4 months so he stays away from the pies.
