Holyfield's cruiserweight weight limit was less than Usyk's.

You forgot about Patterson's leaping left hook

The gazelle punch? Wouldn't work. He needs space to launch it and bowe never stops moving forward and fights on the inside mostly.

This is a case of Bowe being too big. Different weight classes. That is the problem with heavyweight. The big variable is size. Skills matter and that is why Holyfield was so impressive because he hung in there and got wins with a smaller size, meaning he had high skills. I always thought there should be a super heavyweight division. More for the smaller guys who at 205 pounds cannot compete with the Klitchkos or Fury's or Joshua sizes.

They thought about making a super heavyweight division during the 1930s and then changed their minds about it.

I loved Bowe until he 'melted down'; All the skills!!
1990 Bowe vs. 1960 Patterson? Bowe too much but...jeez it's ERAS!

I don't know about quickly, but he beats Floyd 7 days a week imo. Both being in prime condition.

I love Floyd Patterson, but it's just a bad matchup for him, like Frazier-Foreman, no way flood can get to him to utilize his speed and power, and not being able to take a great punch he is real trouble with his size, power and infighting ability of Bowe.

Bowe. Come on. He wouldn't lose to a chinny guy like Patterson. Patterson may even have success but Bowe will simply have the attitude of "I'm bigger than him" and will just impose his size and maul poor Floyd.

The question is whether Patterson gets out of the first round, and even if he’s actively fighting to survive, I’m not sure if he could, as Bowe was decent at tracking down smaller guys who could move, and that wasn’t even really Patterson’s game.

I see it going similarly to the Herbie Hide fight. But Patterson was a bigger puncher than Hide, so Bowe may be more hurt.
