Eddie Chambers was in the worst and fattest shape of his career against Peters and he still easily beat him.

Peters notoriety only comes from giving Wlad hell and that has convinced the Wlad nuthuggers thats he's some world beater. It only shows how overrated Wlad is , not how good Peter is.

This guy in his prime had worse stamina than an overweight , 40 year old James Toney. He could only throw about 10 punches a round.

He'd even be beaten by Bruce Seldon and he wouldn't see the second round against Big Daddy Biowe

I ask you this because Peter was thisclose to ending Wlad. This was right after Davarryl Williamson had Wlad shook and things weren't looking good for his future. Peter tops Wlad and his confidence soars and his career takes a different path. THAT Peter might be trouble for Bowe but not the one that materialized.

McCline just seemed like a poor man's Bowe to me. Slower, lesser foot work, a lesser offensive threat and inconsistent in a way. He did show nuts and guts and pulled off some wins out of the bag. Grant, Goofi, Briggs - 3 big guys that were all favored I believe. McCline created some momentum and made a believer out of me for a while. He probably deserved the nod against Peter even.

Peter fought in the worst HW era known to man and look at the guys he fought? Nobody. Don King matched him with scurbs cos even he knew he was useless.
He was beaten every time he met a ranked body outside of Maskaev who was nearing the end of his career.

Arreola and Chisora were better than Peters. Thats not opinion. That putting all their careers side by side and seeing Peter was clearly the weakest link.
But you don't hear people talking about then because they're not Wlad victims.

You could make a case for Macline deserving the win against Peter more than Wlad in fight one.

An unconditioned Macline who took the fight on a weeks notice had far less trouble with Peter than Wlad had. He was even was closer to stopping Peter than Wlad was and he didn't have to run and hold like his life depended on it to survive.
He just stood there. Same as Toney who just laid on the ropes all night.
If Macline was in shape , he would have ended Peter right there in the second round.
Wlad with all his KDs and the point deductions he should have gotten should have put him further behind on the cards. Harlod Ledderman said he should have been DQ'd outright.
