Who cares probably Mir or Santos, we have to see more from Cain and Carwin and Nog has to show whether his lose to Mir was due to sickness or being old.
like in rankings or skill/threat? rankings-nog, mir skills/threat-dos santos, mir actually after making this post dos vs mir would be a fun fight, i've read that dos has exceptional BJJ but we cant be so sure since its all comming from HIS camp.
I'd put Mir first, after that it really depends on how Velasquez, JDS, and Carwin perform; right now I would have a hard time putting any of them ahead of Nog, but if one puts on a really spectacular performance they would probably earn the #2 spot. I think Velasquez is the most skilled and fundamentally sound of the youngsters, but his size disadvantage could hurt him.
I am not sure. I for one and very excited with the heavyweight division the UFC right now. All sorts of interesting fights out there. Some great experienced veterans, as well as some seriously exciting and talented up and comers.
Frank Mir without a doubt now he has packed on the weight he cannot be controlled so easy on the floor and his BJJ is superb. Also his boxing looks like it has improved 10 fold.
Well since Mir DID beat Nog and we don't know for sure if it was due to Nog's illness I'm gonna go with: Mir Nog Dos Santos Cain Carwin
Mir, Big Nog, JDS, Cain then Carwin. It's debatable and that is what is brillant. A brillant group of guys to test each other so whoever is challenging Brock should really deserve it. Mir vs Carwin and Big Nog vs Cain puts a really deserving challenge at the forefront. However the winners might have to contend with the monster banger known as JDS. It's really great stuff. Strikeforce seem to have a great heavyweight roster too now though theirs is still developing. The heavyweights are the face of the orgs because they can be considered the best fighter in the world. Thankfully MMA is developing skilled heavies UNLIKE boxing which is disgraceful to say the least.
