Anyone with eyes can see that Rigo is operating at the same level of dominance as golovkin, Crawford, and Lomo,

These four rule their division with iron fist, people have to leave to continue their careers.

People run from Rigo, when they fight him head, they break their faces. Donaire was praised and put on a tier that he was not on, he got schooled badly.

Frampton, Santa Cruz, et al, are cowards, and he boxing historians will pass this info down so that history will know.

Rigo is one of the best and most popular boxer to boxing fans. Check his views, he is known, dangerous and has meddled as much lomo. the funny thing is casuals know this, experts know this. Rigo simply has to play bad guy like Floyd to increase his money.

    He aint doing bad financially.

He is better then pep, Pep was a master, but as great as ancient Rome is , it does not compare to the British Empire. As Great as the British Empire is , it does not compare to the dominance of USA.

a Champ in those day would be faded in their 30s, now a days you can be in your 30s and still prime, and unbeaten!!!!

    Who Beat Rigo, No one,

Who beat the great Willie Pep?,

and are any of the guys that beat him, better then Nonito.....HMMMM

    #THINK

500K an insult to for a FW or less????

    Thats absolutely ridiculous.

Most top FWs arent getting 100K.

F/N Billy Dib was the biggest name in FW boxing for a minute, and Gradovich fought him on ESPN for F/N 12k. 12 FUKKING THOUSAND BUCKS.

And lets see what kindof money Vasyl is making winning titles at 130 or defending vs the likes of Walters, another HUGE NAME in boxing.

What kind of $$$ does Rigo make for his normal fights to turn down life changing $$$$.

500K is probably 1/2 of what he's made his whole career FFS.

    Donaire was ELITE.
He stands as Rigo's best win by a mile, and will be Rigos best win by a mile until he fights and beats Loma or boils down to 115 and beats either Gonzalez or Inoue.

He can fight Frampton, LSC, and every top FW there is and none of them combined will equal his Donaire win, not in $$$$$ or legacy.

Generally agree but feel Frampton has the potential to get to a similar level as Donaire legacy-wise, depending on what he does in the next 4-5 fights and who he beats. But he and Rigo will never meet anyway, not now. People call out Carl for ducking Rigo, but I think it was fair to say he simply wasn't ready for that fight when it was being discussed, so I don't particularly criticise him for that...

Rigo has never fought anyone remotely like Pep, either.

I don't think Rigo has the mindset or style to beat him. He's just too complacent in the ring.

This fight might also set the record for fewest number of punches in a full length title fight.

You asked me for a detailed breakdown, and I'm asking you for the archived footage of multiple fights from each of those 60 bums he fought in his first 62 fights, from the time period of 1940 to 1943, since records of 17-43, 56-30, and 20-47 aren't proof to you that they were bums cans and stiffs. Pep fought a guy with a record of 30-40-15 in his 60th fight. I'm not an old man. I wasn't alive back then, and neither were you. So just acknowledge that he fought damn near all bums through 62 fights, instead trying to act like actual tape exists of bum boxers from the 1940s. If you look Pep's resume up, you see his first 62 was filled with damn near all bums, a couple journeymen, guys making their debut, and guys with less than 10 fights, guys with losing records etc.

I've never doubted Pep's skill and ability. He is viewed as one of boxings defensive wizards, although that didn't save him from the plodding, mauling Sandy Saddler. Some of you are acting like buttsore fanboys. Pep is an all time great. Did he beat mostly cans, bums, stiffs, etc. Yes. Did he lose three out of four to his best opponent. Yes. Was his defensive movement ahead of his time, yes. Do I think Rigondeaux would have beat him. Yes. It's my opinion. Lets not act butt hurt, and lash out because I don't agree, or because you see the Alias and imagine a Muslim so you say my ALT is stupid. Whatever ALT means.

    Brutal.

I'd like him to show us Rigo's string of big money purses that put him so above the idea of taking 500k for a fight.

I bet Jazza and a few unheralded Japanese gatekeepers - that's me being kind - were really lucrative.

Yeah, sometimes it is hard to tell whether the person is being serious or just trolling.

There should be footage from one or two of the Pep vs Saddler fights on youtube. Pep got a UD in their first fight. Saddler KO'd him in their rematch, then stopped him in the next two fight as well. Saddler was said to be a rough and rugged guy with an iron chin, and power.
