The point is Roger or Floyd Sr have no world class experience training fighters. They are proven to suck at training fighters because all the names they've trained lose in the big fights. They all look great in sparring and hitting pads, and then lose in the fight.

I don't know. Rigo is pretty damn fast with his hands. He is at least comparable to Pac in terms of speed alone. Besides, Pac isn't worlds apart from everyone. Even Roach has stated Khan is faster than him.

As for Rigo leaving Roach, I can't really judge. I wish I was a fly on the wall so I could hear and see everything that went down between the two. Who knows, maybe things got personal with them. It's hard to choose sides when you don't know the situation well enough.

Roger knows what he's doing it seems. Otherwise Floyd wouldn't depend on him so much. Roger doesn't have a resume comparable to Roach but that doesn't mean he's inept.

I think Richardson would have been a better choice than Mayweather. I think the kind of fighter Rigo can become is a James Toney technical genius kind of fighter rather than a Floyd or Pacquiao, because Rigo while he has speed and power, his true brilliance is his technical ability. He has the best technical talent I've seen since James Toney.

I think hes ready to fight a contender. Maybe Roach thought he wasnt ready? Just amazing technical ability, how does he generate so much power at that weight and punch at those angles, and on top of that he's so precise. These long layoffs can't help, he needs to fight once a month and if he wins impressively against a contender he could be champion by summer.

I believe he said he left because he was not happy with the amount of attention he was getting at the Wild Card, since there are so many fighters there.. he also didnt like sparring with 150lbers ...

Under Roger, he'll get more 1 on 1 attention I guess... seems like he has a big sense of entitlement ?
