At the end of the day the ring rankings don't matter...money talks. The only time the ring rankings will have any bearing is when Wlad retires because he can fight anyone and still hold the belt.

If Haye gets moved down because he lost to Klitschko, if they're that reactionary and bowing to public perception so much...they should have moved Adamek down to about 50 when he failed to dispatch Kevin McBride. After all there are probably 50 guys out there that could knock out that lump of lard over 12 rounds.

I don't understand how a loss to Wlad warrants him dropping down the list. If they had Haye at #4 before the Wlad fight, I'd have no issue with that. His heavyweight resume is similar to Adamek's and Povetkin's.

Povetkin should not be rewarded for ducking Wlad.

And who do you suggest that would be outside of Vitali maybe?

all rankings are flawed in some ways but unfortuantely the ring is the best one at the moment that gives out a belt, plus their champions tend to be spot on.
but man is povetkin getting some miles out of that chambers win

actually hw doesn't really need rankings as most contenders are happy to just fight less fighters till a kilt payday comes calling and never fight other contenders, might as well be just kilts then everyone else

Its a meaningless bauble, worse than the ABCs in many ways because there are no mandos

Yeah all rankings are flawed but I think Ring is the best even though obviously they are far from perfect.

Funny how titles and belts suddenly become "baubles" and "trinkets" to suit the occasion but then revert back again when another line of argument needed.;)

I actually do think Rob's rankings are better. To be fair to him, very rarely will you see anything glaringly incorrect with Rob's, some are debatable at worst, but rankings are subjective anyways. The Ring seem to go out of their way at times just to be controversial.

But mando opponents are usualy crap who have done nothing to deserve their shot in the first place.
I think the Ring belt is easily better than the awful soup titles.
