Obviously the historians don't share your views. His legacy isn't hurt as you can see by his placement on the list. He's ranked 12th without ever even fighting Pac.:deal Pac isn't even ranked on the list, so you tell me who needs who?:deal

You can't tell **** when a fighters still active. Wait 5-10 years and see how things unfold. Do you even have to be told such basic stuff as this?

As far as who needs who, it's not Pac calling himself TBE so if Floyd wants the moniker than he better man up before it's too late. Otherwise he should STFU.

Where is FOTD? :D:lol::rofl *******s are butt hurt right now. Most of the panel are the same ones who voted on FOTD title YET when it comes to who is the the best, the FOTD doesn't even make the list. History will be kinder to Floyd.

These guys seem to think Floyd did enough to be great.

12th is pretty far from his claim of being number 1. I doubt think there's any dispute Floyd's a great fighter, he's just not as great as he and his fans think he is.

You're not the brightest bulb around I see, so let me explain this as if you're in elementary school.

If Floyd's legacy can be enhanced by a win over Pac then by definition him not fighting him is hurting his legacy.

In other words, had he fought Pac and won 3-4 years ago, perhaps he's 4th or 5th on that list rather than 12th. He most certainly would be higher if that had happened, it's simply a question of how much higher.

As to who needs who more, that's like asking who needed who more between Ali and Frazier. Certainly Ali benefited more from fighting Frazier than the other way around, but they both needed each other to enhance their legacies.

Am I the only one who notices the Lack of Joe Calzaghe?

THIS is completely Crazy!!!! Ring has serious went down hill. Bert Sugar and Manny Steward said Calzaghe is ONE OF THE GREATEST FIGHTERS THEY EVER SAW.
And he doesn't get any love. Crap list... Sweet P needs to be higher. Ray Leonard over Willie Pep? Nonsense.

Mayweather and Pac should be closer to each other, although I don't really care who is slightly higher. But that distance is no realistic.

It's subjective. Everybody has their own criteria when choosing who they consider to be the best fighters ever.

Floyd was consider an ATG and 1st ballot hall of famer before he even got to WW. He's 38 and still widely regarded as the #1 p4p.

It would be pretty hard to keep him off the list. Even if they have a personal problem with him.

If Manny hadn't gotten KTFO6 by a 40 yr old who came up to his weight class he may have made this list as well.

Any list that has Duran ranked ahead of Sugar Leonard isn't a legit list. It's considered flawed in judgement.

In your opinion. We all have one. Most of us can rationalize them to a respectable degree.

I happen to find Leonards' resume, not his ability, to be pretty highly overrated. I think most posters on this site rank Duran over Leonard, based on what I've read over the years.

Leonards resume highly overrated??? You can keep your opinion to yourself. We don't need to know who you think ranks higher between the two. This kind of talk is over your head.

Relative to people who think he is one of the most accomplished boxers ever? Absolutely overrated.

Someone isn't allowed to rank Duran over Leonard? Hmm. Yeah. You have a worthy head on your shoulders to debate with. Once again, I'm pretty sure most people on this site rank Duran over him. I often times disagree with the majority opinion. But I don't discredit it entirely "just because" like you seem to.

Your personal opinion or anyone elses personal opinion who ranks Duran over Leonard personally, is just that-your opinion. But when it comes time to judge these two historically...there is no argument to rank Duran higher than Leonard. None.
