Would you want to see the 3rd Fight???? Or see them.move on & fight another time???? It was a GREAT FIGHT, but im not big on rematches. I would love to see them go on to other things, it just sucks that GB has the top 140s.

Rios/Alvarado vs any of these guys make GREAT FIGHTS

    Judah
    Ajose Oosugein
    Provonikhov
    Marquez
    Pacquiao
    Bradley
    Crawford

I would still LOVE to see Rios/Pacquiao, & Ruslan/Alvarado. ****, throw them together on a PPV, & that still leaves Timbo/JMM to fight.

There has to be a 3rd fight now.
Second fight was unessesary but now it's a must.
Operation keep them tied up so Juan has no options is in full effect!

I'm all for a third one now. If not just for the action.

Mike and Brandon wasted their peaks/prime on each other.

Yes they did Bama. I didnt wanna see the second one in the first place. Always has to be a sequel nowadays an even more annoying is all the trilogies

I didn't mind the rematch, the first fight was stopped prematurely.
I just feel bad that they probably took years off their careers with their fights, they'll both be marginal contenders after the 3rd fight.

But that is how they box though. They would be taking years off with virtually any other opponent at 140lbs. They take almost as much as they give in most of their bouts.

I'd rather see Rios vs. Pacquiao and Alvarado vs. Provodnikov next.

I know but you would think if they didn't fight each other when they did they both would have had higher ceilings and more paydays.

Of course its great. Action packed. Its just done so much, these guys werent even household names. An pretty much killed eachother. Rios is only 26. Think thats what me an bama mean in that they wasted their primes. MGreat for the fans but not great for rios an mikes futures

True, Rios' punch resistance is starting to wane IMO, can't go on taking the punishment he does. Alvarado has been in some tough, tough bouts recently.

it's not like Rios and Alvarado wouldn't go to war with any other opponents. the division is full of killers.

Other fights for now, let it simmer for a while. Hopefully they can both go on a winning streak so that a third fight between them is highly anticipated.

Even if they fought next weekend I'm sure most of the boxing forum crowd would tune in but it just wouldn't have any buzz to it.

Would like to see it but not right away, both guys should let a 3rd fight marinate and take on other challengers. Just like Gatti vs Ward, Marquez vs Vasquez and to a lesser extent Marquez vs. Pacquiao, both Rios and Alvarado could spend the best part of their careers ruining each other.
