Hell yeah, this is definitely at the top of my wishlist. Both are at the top of their games. Rios plays the villain role who had bad blood with Khan's trainer Roach. I even dare to say that I want to see this fight more than Pac - Floyd at this point.
true. but due to his fast hands, it gives the impression he is. what he does is, gets a load of punches off, then moves back on the outside to start again. it shuts fighters down quite a lot. it makes them wary of attacking so much. this in turn makes him look more elusive than he is. he did like to stay in position far too long and mix it up... it wasn't the best thing for him to do. he's a boxer puncher with speed, so that suits him best. roach has been getting him to do that... i think it's finally sinking into khan. he's getting better and better. in a year and a half ( if he avoids kell brook) there will be no stopping him. he's coming along nicely.
anyway i think khan UD's Rios in a tough gritty fight, Rios is excellent at closing the distance and infighting, not very good at mid range though but inside he's a beast, i think khan will try keep him off him all night with both guys breaking compubox numbers.
we already saw this fight it was Kahn vs Maidania.. Rios vs Kahn could turn out differnt if he could crack that china chin of Khan but he gotta eat kahns best and like it before he gets to the chin... not sure he could do that.. but who knows?
That's true. Despite what people think, Khan won't be having any size advantage here. Rios is a massive lightweight, and he'll practically be the same size as Khan on fight night. This, in combination with the fact that he [Rios] possesses the worst possible style for Khan, makes this a 50-50 fight for me. He hits hard enough to put Khan out, his chin is good enough to withstand Khan's shots, and his ability to cut the ring off and stay in Khan's face, far exceeds that of Maidana's. In my opinion, he gives Khan the toughest fight of his career.
sorry for taking so long to get back to you. i haven't looked at my posts for a while. well for starters, i don't believe in any god. were talking nature here. you can be born with natural talent, yes. but you have to keep working on it or it will amount to nothing. and it can be enhanced in the gym. if you have a passion for something, and are willing to put the time in, then yes, you can improve the areas you're working on. i wouldn't say i was born with natural talent, but i had a passion for the sport. (i train five days a week) i worked on everything.. speed, strength, timing, distance and power. after doing it for a few years, i turned into a very good fighter. i just wish i would of started when i was younger... i could of made a career out of it. but hey, what can you do? hope this answers your question.

Rios is relentless, but he gets hit a lot. I think Khan would hit him with too many clean shots and it would get stopped late. It would be an interesting fight, though.
