He had been in Temple University hospital for about a week before being moved to hospice. RIP Bad Bennie. A true tough guy who gave the great Monzon a couple of good rumbles. There's a photo on the web of Monzon reeling after being hit by Bennie, although Carlos went on to win the decision. And he held Monzon to a draw in their first fight!
