**RJJ as a LHW during the period between 74 thru 85**

We all read inot thing here, that's a fact..some more than others but everyone those....so you are half black...I always found that statement very interesting..for a a person that choose their words carefully you ahve to agree that saying : I am half black is a very intereting way of describing your heritage......

I will tell you that I am not a racist, but I will raise my voice immidietly if I see someone saying anything bad about my heritage or my country in my prescence ...I will not tolerated that..end of the stroy.....

In Puerto Rico, we don;t have rascism...we are what we are and we ll live in racial harmony, my Dad is dark dark, my mom is faired skin, I am the litest skin of my family ...I took my Moms side ofthe family....my kids are mix also......and I was sure that they understood their PR heritage and be proud of it......but they are American , since they were born in the USA..but theur cultural roots is clear with them and understand where I came from and where they came from....I was always was explain to them my heritage and culture....they visit PR with me to visit our family many times.....

 

I never said I was 1/2 black. I said I was 1/2 Black 1/2 Puerto Rican. When have I ever said I was 1/2 Black and not mentioned the other half? That would look just plain stupid. The whole point of mentioning that you are 1/2 something is because you are going to mention the other 1/2.

And while I am guilty of reading into others statement, I apologize when they correct me. I remember exactly what you did. I told you that it was BS that you called me a racist and your response was "It was a joke". Then a few days later, you said it wasn't and that you meant it.

I haven't said anything towards your country or any other. You don't tolerate that, fine. But vice versa. Stop telling me what I am and what I am not.

.....when I said that saying you are "1/2 something...." it is interesting statement.....most people that are mix black...for somereason the pick the father side to finish that statement: exmaple someone fahter is black and the mom white, they will describe them selfs as "1/2 black"..now when the mother is black and father white, they will say "1/2 white" ....interesting and telling...IMO

 

It's not telling for me. And I grew up black, as my adopted father and my real mom are black. I barely know my dad. Either way, the only reason I say 1/2 Black first is because its how it was told to me by my mom when she said it. I copied her and that's how I have said it ever since. Think about it, if I reversed it, couldn't a Black person do the same thing you are and read into it? I am not picking sides. Race isn't relevant to me, just the heritage behind it.

As for the RJJ thing. I don't spin it. I take what you say and apply it to other things you have said. Anytime I ask you what I spun, you never tell me, just repeat yourself. If you show me something you think I have spun, I will tell you what I meant, and if I contradicted myself, I will admit it. Ask anyone I have argued with (Besides PacDbest) if I admit I am wrong when I make a mistake. They will tell you I do.

You said I only use lists that agree with my points. Of course. You only use points that agree with yours, as does everyone else. Remember, you were using Bert Sugar's list when you thought Jones wasn't on it, but disregarding Ring's list which had Jones at 43. The whole point is who can present the better evidence (more of it, whatever). If you truly felt I spinned something you said about Jones, present it and I will tell you exactly what I meant when I disagreed. Case and point, you calling Woods overrated and someone who loses when he steps up. I find it hard to agree with that when later on in the same thread you call Gonzalez and Jphnson good fighters.....they both have been beaten by Woods, Gonzalez two seperate times. Those are the things I point out.

 

I did call Gonzalez a good fighter within the context of my post, meaning he fought RJJ with heart and determination eventhough he was clearly over match....

Now, I did call Glencoffe a good boxer becuase I think he was far better than his record show. and sure he lost to Woods, but again....Johnson is oneof this boxer in similar fashion to Jimmy Young that when they were good they were awsome abut when bad ...they really stunk....the Johnson that beat RJJ could ahve beaten Woods anytime...anytime....the Johnson that beat Tarver also....but the Johnson that was beaten by Woods would have been destroyed against RJJ...
