I think you might be surprised at what I know.
I was actually referring to Nicky Winmar among others. His gesture was to a few Collingwood supporters. Are you suggesting that AFL followers in general were outraged at a black man playing.
I don't think you understand that I am straight out saying that Mundine is an opportunist who is using the misfortune and mistreatment of "his" people for his own selfish advantage. Namely, to boost his image.
Was that not clear? Did you somehow think that I was disputing that aboriginals were mistreated?
Yes, some people still use the terms you mention. I know all about it.
I'll state one thing though and it's a fact. Mundines race does not come into it. Do you seriously think he'd be loved if he was white? C'mon. I'm fully aware of what the 1960's were like for Ali and blacks in America. The USA of the 1960's and Australia of the 1990's do not have a lot in common.
Finally, if by the Bronx (I hope it was a typo), you mean Redfern, I have lived in Little Eveleigh, Vine and Caroline St, during the 90's so I might have an idea of what was going on.

And once again.....yes, yes, I know he is a very good local boxer. I've learned to deal with it as you suggest. (I don't think I ever had trouble dealing with it)

No your idea is wrong it was aimed at more than a few collingwood supports buddy i know nicky very well i spent my life in pingelly with him he is my uncle, now i do not believe that mundine is using the past injustices for his selfish advantage thats a stupid thing to say he is who he is because of the past injustices as we all are products of time products of our parents to ask us why we turn from bad to worse is to ignore from which we came.

Please dont confuse what i type when i say bronx i mean public housing, and you saying that you grew up in redfern makes me laugh please every white person when talking about black fullars starts the conversation with "i know a black man" and i am not comparing america 1960 with australia at all i am making a reference to the fact that no one really liked ALI through his career they wanted to see him beatin in every fight and a lot of negros agreed because he was bringing unwanted attention to their race simple as that.

Oh and yes it would be different if he was white..please have a good listen to the bull**** green comes out with his stupid comments and his big mouth and he is quite dumb too but no one picks him they love him he is a white lesser version of mundine and the public love him!!!

And your legacy is living with a k.o from 10 years ago you dumbass.
I hope one day your on a train or bus having a chat with someone and you bring up the ottke k.o and they turn to you and say.............Mate that was in the year 2000....How many times has he been k.o"d in the past 10 years you ******.
Then they give you ottkes stats and how mundine shouldnt have even lasted 4 rounds seeing he was a novice, not forgetting also he troubled ottke more than any other opponent he had fought......................Oh and ottke had over 300 amatuer fights.
Youd be like..... driver next stop please..:nut:nut:nut

I don't catch the train, and when I do I listen to my ipod and am on the look out for some asian twat. Sorry to disappoint you buddy but Mundine doesn't occupy my mind outside of ESB.

And what stats suggest that Mundine shouldn't have gone more than 4 rounds with Ottke? The stat that he's only had 5 of so knockout wins throughout his whole career?

The stat that he's only stopped two guys in under 4 rounds?

The stat that had an Ottke KO being the most unlikely option before the fight?

Going by your logic, the stats from the 2009 NRL league season suggests that the Sharks will win the comp next year (sorry whatarock, Marcus).

    Peckerhead.
K.O record has no bearing on how good a fighter is.
Shows power, but most germans are 12 rounds specialists.
Ottke was a very technical fighter who went the rounds and was never defeated in 34 fights.
He had over 300 amatuer fights and more than 20 title defences.
The fact mundine so early took it up to this guy speaks volume, not to you because your too stupid.
Watch the fight again mate, mundine was no where near ready, breathing from the second round like he was having a heartattack.
Its widely known his preparation was minimal and he took the fight with his confidence rather than his brain.
He was all over him until the 10th,so your point is pointless......plus it was 10 years ago dumbass

I didn't grow up in Redfern. I lived there from '89 to '00.
You don't know anything about my racial origin.

    I'll make this simple.

1.Australia has many racists (so does America and also India apparently. go figure)
    2. Anthony Mundine is very unpopular.

Now, first lesson in logic is that just because 1. happens and 2. happens it does not follow that 1. causes 2.
This would lead to conclusion that for instance, my wife got pregnant when Essendon won the Grand Final therefore this is what makes women pregnant. You may laugh but people used to think like this. Not thinking like this is a very good idea.

    so...

    3. Anthony is disliked because he is an unintelligent, noisy tosser and not for any other reason.
I give you Eminem and Mel Gibson as whiter examples of the same thing.

Please do yourself a favor and read Taylor Branch's 3 volumes on America in the King years. I don't think your understanding of the situation is so good.

I admire genuine people like Charles Perkins who I've also met. I guess that makes you laugh. ha ha ha ha.
If you think Mundine is an activist you are making a fool of yourself.

(PS. Nicky Winmar pointed to his skin at Victoria Park in response to racial taunting by a group of Collingwood supporters. I said as much.
You say, oh no he didn't. I know him. He's my uncle. Do you know how silly that sounds? Whatever the greater ramifications of the gesture, which no doubt Nicky later shared with you, it WAS directed at a small group of Collingwood supporters.)

He didnt throw it away shaney,he didnt do enough, ankle was a bit dodgy but he thought being at home he would win it easily without doing much....
Ill agree with you once that it was a **** performance and he struggled with siacas height.
