You just love seeing Roy sparked... What is the point of an old shot fighter getting knocked out? Do you really hate him that much? How would you feel if he seriously got damaged?

Anyone who wants to see this fight happen is just an RJJ hater. Jones gave up taking boxing seriously after the Ruiz fight.

I think his record after Ruiz pretty much validates it.

I don't want to see this - AT ALL - and I was one of RJJ's most vocal critics on boxing message boards dating back at least to 1998.

I wish Jones would hang them up, or if he insists on continuing and needs the money, I hope he continues fighting slower guys with now power in his tour that resembles that of an aging 80s rock band.

I think that Jones took the Tarver fights seriously, and that going back down to win a title at 175 after winning one at heavy was important to him.

Wit the advantage of hindsight, it's clear to me that Jones should have just stayed at heavyweight and tested his luck against someone like Byrd, Tyson, Holyfield, or even Lennox. He probably would lose those fights, but he would have probably made a pretty penny in the process.

I don't want to see him get a title shot at CW, but unless he loses to a journeyman type fighter, I believe it's inevitable. He's quite popular in Eastern Europe.

With regards to him fighting at HW, yes, hindsight is a wonderful thing. He should never have rushed back for Tarver. But he didn't want to fight Byrd, and the other fights that you've mentioned, weren't viable.

Considering his last performance, I don't think its certain he gets past Danny Santiago

Let's get one thing straight though, Roy is ancient, has been KOed a few times, and is really more of a commentator at this point, but Roy is a MONSTER puncher, now that he doesn't move anymore. His left hook is devastating.
