Pac beats Cotto at any weight from 140 all the way up to 147 so it really doesn't matter anyway.

If this statment is true I don't understand Pac team. I mean Cotto was 146 for his last fight. 145 changes almost nothing for Cotto. But will discredit an eventual Pac win(I don't believe he is going to win) an will take the attention of the fight fans when it is really not so important. For me Pac's people are getting arrogant because of Cotto's last fight and they also fell victims to the hype. It's not smart for them to make the fight at 145.

No I didn't. I just presented you with a much more realistic view of the fight. Again...this is not a normal WW fight given the fact that Cotto is challengin a JR WW. so there are terms that need to be negotiated. You based your comments on a fight that is with TWO WW's not a WW vs a Jr WW which is the situation at hand.

I believe this which is why I'm confused as to why Cotto has to come in at a weight Pac/Arum/Roach want...

i like both fighters and dont have a bias to any boxer
i think pac is more of a draw at the moment
nevertheless, id prefer to see pac fight at 147 rather than a catchweight

No worries. I like Nallege. He offers up some reasonable observations. Many times we aren't in agreement but he does have boxing knowledge. It just seems he has some unfair perspectives on PAC in particular. Thanks bro!:good

Pac/Arum/Roach wants it at 143, COTTO wants it at 145lbs...you should read some articles before you post...:good

Hatton never said a word to Floyd or Collazo about weight. Floyd never said a word to Castillo about weight. Duran never said a word to Sugar about weight. Roach is saying something to Cotto about weight.

I just want to see the fight no matter the weight. They are two incredible fighters who come to fight. Let the managing teams negotiate the business aspect and let the fighters fight. The fans win at the end of the day.
