Cotto rematch isn't going to happen. I don't know why that fight is even brought up.

Mosley fight might happen just because Shane would sell out to take a pay day and be a part of a big fight. If I was HBO, I would want no part of that fight. And really...If HBO nixes that fight and says no 24/7, that fight wouldn't do too well financially.

If Marquez beats Katsidis, particularly if he looks good in doing so...I think there's a really good shot of Pacquiao-Marquez fight happening despite promotional issues. Marquez would sell that fight real well. And I think legacy wise (and pacquiao does care about legacy), an emphatic win in a 3rd match vs Marquez does a lot for his legacy.

Berto is an interesting case...If he beat a 'name' fighter (cotto, mosley, margarito), that's a fight they could sell real well. However, despite likely being Pacquiao's toughest test at 147 and below besides Floyd, that's a difficult fight to sell to the casual public. Even with his undefeated record. I don't see Berto-Pacquiao happening unless Berto gets a big win over a name fighter sometime soon...Then the undefeated Berto would have some serious drawing power vs pacman.

If Katsidis finds a way to stop Marquez, a Katsidis-Pacquiao fight is interesting. Not because Katsidis has a chance. But because it would be a war for as long as it lasts, and Pacquiao loves to go to war and put on impressive shows.

And then there's the 4 man junior welterweight tournament going on...Alexander vs Bradley. Khan vs Maidana. The winner of that tourney is a very marketable opponent for pacquiao.

  4. not a REAL challenge, but will give him fits...a taste of the so called "BLACK AMERICAN" style...and his haiatian...

without floyd and sergio being too big for pac, then this unification bout makes sense, a lot better than pac mosley imo.

Collazo is not fast by any means and his straight left is putting Berto in ***** st. This fights a joke.

I mean this is a low risk, low reward fight. He needs big fights. Floyd or nothing for Pac or he should just KO JMM for a farewell just to get him to shut up.

yeah right and i remember berto criticizing pac being easy to hit, i said wtf. then again, this would be a unification bout at ww, which to me sounds very good for pac's resume'
