    Yeah i agree mate.

If you were genuinenly concerned about a friend you wouldn't be talking to the press about it thats for sure. Not sure what he is trying to do.

The concern level just doesn't make sense simply because how could freddy not be more concerned about Toney? Toney's a guy who has taken some serious leather to the head, and is basically a 40 year old overweight lt hw or cruiser at this point preparing to take shots from naturally much bigger hw's. I mean it appears that Toney might be able to regroup, but he sounded very punch drunk after Peter 2, and Toney has at more than a few times in that fight and some other recent fights looked more of a shell than hopkins (tho toney has looked good at time too). Obvioulsy Roach likely has more info than us fans, but again I don't get this level of concern (going public with it as if to try and save his life) when he has said nothing about Toney.

Perhaps he feels, that whatever he says will never have an influence on Toney, whereas with pressure Bernard may listen. I don't know...

Yeah man that's total bulls... Hopkins has a WAY better chance against Pavlik than Pacquiao does against Delahoya. Roach seems fishy right now. But oh well Hopkins became what he is without Roach he'll be fine without him. Bouie Fisher fit Hopkins style better when he was in his corner.

How, if he thinks Pacman is going to beat Oscar. I think he just has sour grapes with Oscar and Hopkins. He probably got dismissed by Hopkins and is now talking just like he did with Oscar. He should be more professional. Talking to the media about Oscar's weaknesses and now Hopkins. I believe he is a drama queen. Just do what your suppose to do and that is train.

Hopkins is putting himself in a great deal of danger taking this fight. All things considered, does anyone really think that Pavlik will come into this fight thinking an ugly split decision win is good enough? That ain't what he'll be thinking.

Team Pavlik will be fully aware that Talyor's wins were controversial, and that Calzaghe's was far from stunning. The only Pavlik quote I've seen so far was Kelly saying Bernard "is gonna get banged up a little." Considering Pav's laid back personality, that's the equivalent of a lot of fighters sayin Hops is a dead man. I guarantee you Kelly will come in with the desruction of Bernard Hopkins on his mind. That puts BHop in a very precarious position. One can hardly blame Roach for publicly voicing his concerns.

Agree. Who said they are friends? They are just passing each other. Is Oscar and Roach drinking buddies? No, they just worked together and moved on. Now Roach is talking ****. I train the most exciting fighter in the world in Pacman and now he wants all eyes on him. You know the saying, "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything".

Or he could come into the fight with a lot of respect for Hopkins. Stranger things have happened. I never count Hopkins out. He may surprise everyone like he did with Tarver or maybe not.

I see this fight 50-50 since hopkins is the new John Ruiz.
