Overall reach is the same. BHop is WAY bigger through the chest and shoulders. That probably translates into a significant arm length advantage for Pavlik. Arm length is a helluva lot more important than total reach.
I believe the fight is already made, so if he is talking all this crap about Hopkins, I would not want him for a friend. He is also Oscar's friend and he is telling anyone who will listen about all his weaknesses. Those are the special friends that will throw you under a bus when they don't get their way.
It's not crap. The guy is perhaps very concerned about Hopkins, as he himself believes he develped Parkinsons from boxing.
In addition to too many blows, his brain has recently been 24/7end. But no, Scar was on the mark, fellas: he does know a lot more than we do-and maybe he's beseeched B-Hop to retire and hopkins made it abundantly clear not to mention his persistance? How do we know?
Guess I coulda put that down here initially huh, Blade? I was gonna back yu that your right in that b4 24/7, yu heard very little roll off the cat's tongue. Since then however, rather the opposite.
I used to be a huge Hopkins fan, predicted he would knock out Tito and he did, but I am also concerned for his health. He does not really need the money.
So you think Pavlik is a better fighter than Joe Calzaghe? Pavlik is good but hasn't done anything to convince me he is able to adapt the way Calzaghe does. Yeah funny how there is no mention of walking back to the wrong corner, just disbelief at the number of punches they claim Joe hit him with. I agree with what he's saying in that video. I'm glad you look at it that way.:good Bit harsh but:rofl Yes there is same flagrant hypocrisy going on here. On the one hand we have Hopkins who, despite getting on a bit, lives clean, has never taken a beating, has always been competitive & trains hard. On the other hand we Toney who is clinically obese, fighting way above his weight & has definitely started to sound punch drunk recently. Listen to the difference between these two interviews. I do agree, I don't feel he has anything left to prove & that SD loss doesn't harm his legacy in my opinion. I can, however, see why he wants to go out on a win & you have to admire him for wanting that win to be over an undefeated fighter.
