roach has improved khan in so many departments

I'm comparing them because they have the same coach. Roach has shown what he can do with PAC. I am discussing the potential of him doing it again with Khan.

I agree, the Khan hate is stupid.

 

I still think the question of how great amir may become cant be properly answered as of yet simply because of the age on khan. With the start hes had to his career as of yet im shocked that he won a legitimate title from a good champion in his 22nd fight at the age of 22. He still has 4 years to reach his physical and technical prime which will probably be at WW or above.

 

Destruction I would be interested to know your top 10 prior to the bout and also where you ranked Kotelnik too.

 

Roach has made a big difference.

 

Same thing happened with Pac in terms of starting and becoming great young.

Khan is 22, this is old enough to begin to see the goods. Despite everything Khan became a champ when most decent fighters should become a champ or at least get a shot (20 to 27 fights).

Khans amateur experience gives him a headstart on your typical fighter. Pressure, crowds, differently styles etc Khan has already experienced this.

 

Khan is still very raw in terms of talent, he needs a few years of seasoning with roach before he starts world domination. I think roach's first stage of developement with khan was making him hard to hit and designing a style for him based on his natural abilities i.e. a high workrate and speed in all its forms. The second stage i believe is to slowly introduce more facets into his game fight by fight until he is a complete fighter.

I'd like to see khan face a few fighters like david diaz before he goes for a big fight with a bradley or campbell. I also think witter would be a good fight for him.
