The irony is that fine china/porcelain was invented in where else, but China.

Not really ironic considering its named 'China'

That's like being shocked that Swedish fish come from Sweden

So Roach happily kept putting Khan in with Pacquiao to spar even though he had been KOd and floored multiple times? Great trainer :/

How do you throw a guy back in with someone who keeps kOing them cold time after time?

Probably happens at the Mayweather gym with Floyd watching and laughing with delight but not at reputable gyms under the guidance of professional trainers.

This same coach c o ckRoach said several times a few years back that Khan vs Manny was a very even sparring match. Further, this roach would say that Khan got the better of Manny in the first few rounds, with Pacquaio getting better of Khan later one in the session. The competitiveness even got to the point that team Pacquiao did not want to spar with Khan anymore since it would give Khan an advantage should they fight in the future.

Clearly, this roach is either lying back then or he is lying now.

I believe you have this slightly confused.

It is not meant as a Chinese chin, it is meant like fine China, like what tea cups are made out of, it is very delicate and easily broken.

Unless you were just having a laugh and in that case

right, and their accomplishments and level of competition are so similar that its impossible to even begin to guess which story is the most plausible. plus, both guys are so humble that they would never exaggerate, or straight up lie, about anything they do in the gym. yep, this is a real tough one to figure out.

My two cents, probably true but many Moons ago, Khan has filled his body combined with been younger and the normal wear and tear of Pac sure could be a good fight.

    cashing out somewhat....
but i think he beats Pac at this point...if those rumors are accurate, then Khan is the only guy he regularly knocks out....he aint knocked out anyone in the ring in over 6 years

Yet despite knowing Khans fragility Roach never appeared to improve his defence? Says as much about Roach as it does Khan.

Man, Freddie keeps plummeting further and further in my eyes. When I first encountered him, based on his appearance and manner. I thought he was this mild mannered, scholarly gentleman, but what's become revealed of him in recent times is really disappointing. Gentleman he ain't.

You don't talk about what happens in sparring sessions. Because Khan is no longer his guy now he's ready to say anything about him. And it doesn't matter whether Khan said something about Freddie, unless he said some really nasty lie, you don't reveal what happened in sparring sessions.

Why would we want to see him fight someone he KO'd several times in sparring? Doesn't that make Khan a no-hoper and a cherry pick?

Fight night weight doesn't make you that weight. For example, someone weighing 154 at the weigh in and 159 on fight night is most likely healthier than the guy weighing 154 at the weigh in and 170 on fight night. So who truly holds the advantage? The guy who made weight comfortably or the guy who cuts 15-20 lbs overnight?

Note: not discrediting Pac's win over Margarito. While Margarito wasn't the best at that weight, he was still a large, formidable opponent for a small Pac.
