No it is not. I like Freddie Roach but it is obvious that the man is unscrupulous when it comes to fighting. First he claims Margarito came to him and seemed innocent but

However, now that Freddie has a fight against Margarito, he turns on Margarito like a rabid dog; but then wonders why Garcia and Margarito make jokes about him and the controversy.

    Here is the story:

    Many moons later:

"Well he never really approached me. Bob Arum’s company approached me and asked me if I would train Margarito and he asked me to. I’ve met him once or twice in my life, but he doesn’t speak English so we’ve never really spoken—through a translator a little bit, but just ‘hello’ and ‘good bye’. But Top Rank wanted me to take him over because they wanted to clean up his reputation, of course, but that never happened. ….Anyone that wants to cheat though, I really don’t care for it too much. I think it’s pretty evident if you study his last eight fights like I’ve been doing over the past two months, you can tell the fights that he cheats in and the ones that he doesn’t. In my opinion he’s a cheater, and I don’t really like that kind of person. " "When you're caught doing something, you don't make fun of it," said Roach. "In my mind, to do that, and get caught, it's like, you should be guilty. And if proven guilty, then it's attempted murder." "You have fu****g rocks in your hand, you know it," Roach told Robert Morales of ***********.com late last month.

"What it looks like is that we're getting into their heads a little bit, now. Freddie Roach started out trying to play games, and now, everything is turning around. Freddie can say whatever he wants, but they're the ones who started that whole thing any way," said Garcia, referring to a scene in 24/7 where Pacquiao feigns closing his eyes, and looking away as an imaginary trainer places wraps on his hands.
"You know, on 24/7, Manny was saying, 'how could he not know?' And he was making those faces and closing his eyes like he was a fighter who was not going to watch his hands being wrapped. We were just making jokes in response to Manny making fun of Tony on 24/7," said Garcia.
"That was how Manny tried to make it look -- like Tony knew something about the wraps. You know, Tony's been trying to tell everyone that he didn't know," said Garcia. "The bottom line is that we were just doing what they did, you know, and getting back at them. So, now, it seems like it is starting to work."

: said Wednesday that the Margarito camp "showed their true colors." And he "isn't buying Garcia's apology":|

IMO Margarito is one very humble and patient person and his joking only confirms it and his innocents. Moreover, Margarito and Garcia claim that they were not mocking Roach but were mocking Manny who was first mocking them. So Freddie is starting a lot of the kakalaki to hype up the fans and probably get his congressman in a more fighting mood

Man, Freddie Roach admitted that he knew Oscar loaded his wraps, when he was training him.

How? Oscar told him! What did he do about it? Nothing. He thought it was great!

He thought it was such a good trick, and so effective, that he used the trick with Pacquiao as well
