Nah. Pacquiao could stop Marquez at these higher weights, but I highly doubt it would be in 3. He seems to be ignoring that Marquez seems to have improved and carried the weight well too.
c'mon divac... even you have to admit that you were very much surprised that pac KTFO'd ricky just within 2 rounds. even your great jmm won't be able to do that. let's see how jmm fares against floyd first in these higher weights. remember, jmm called out mayweather probably to spite pac more than anything else. but unfortunately for him, floyd answered his call. i don't mind a 3rd fight between pac and jmm @140 but jmm has first to find a way to somehow beat floyd . that should really be your concern now as floyd and pac are in a collision course to determine this generation's best fighter and only jmm can possibly spoil that with a win vs. floyd.
Exactly.....Roach is getting a bit carried away with Pac's sucess.......if JMM happens to beat Mayweather, the HBO interview right after of JMM would be looking for JMM to say that Pac is next...... .....if I"m JMM, I'd would love for him to say right after if he should be sucessful for Mayweather...."just one more fight for me, I only want to fight the best, my last fight as a professional boxer will be against Shane Mosely for his Welterweight title!" .....you know what I mean?????just punch those ****ing *******s on the Pac side right where it hurts for simply ignoring him all that time. A win for JMM over Mayweather would put him in position to fight anyone he wished. What a better ending for JMM to go out with victories over Mayweather and then Shane Mosely, while at the same time sticking it to Arum, and Roach!:yep I know I'm getting ahead of myself.....but it never hurts to dream!:yep:bbb
what if jmm loses this one... do still think pac fights him?? looks like jmm will kiss his revenge with the pacman goodbye :bbb:bbb BTW, i am rooting for JMM :good
I believe that interview was right after the post fight press conference. I'm sure it was partly due to the euphoria of the win, and they were still in the middle of their natural high. I'm sure Roach is very confident of Manny's skills as of now, and he's excited to train Manny again for the next big fight. And it was not like Roach just suddenly blurted out those words right out of the blue. That would be like totally disrespecting the other fighters. I believe a reporter asked Roach of his opinion about a possible fight against FMJ or JMM.
I think even the *******s were suprised that Hatton would be layed out like that....... .....but I'll tell you something, as soon as Hatton was dropped in the 1st round by just an average looking counterhook by Pacquiao, I said to myself, "Jesus Christ, Once Pac lands the staight left, Hatton's going down face first to the canvas......turns out it was a left cross that did the trick..... .....but anyone with any boxing sense knew right after the 1st knockdown from an average right cross, that Hatton's chin was'nt not going to be up to the task. I was really looking foward to a good fight, and Hatton's ability to even take an average good shot, reallly dissapointed me, no doubt! .....and as for JMM doing it to Hatton.....of course he would'nt do it in the devestating fashion that Pac did, but it has nothing to do with who the better fighter is..... Evander Holyfield went the distance against fighters Mike Tyson obliterated........guess who turned out to be the better fighter????? Knockouts dont mean you're better. I know that you know that, but I just want to highlight it!
LOL !!! That would be hillarous LOL !!! but as much as I like jmm I dont see him beating FMJ, and I actually think it wasnt all pac fault that didnt fight jmm for the third time, I think it was more of a roach decision than pac but of course anybody who were in pac shoes after the 2nd jmm fight and there were 3 options available, 2 low risk high return(DLH, HATTON) and 1 high risk low return(jmm) of course would had choosen the 2 low risk options and I give more time to jmm to pass his prime and then fight him...I hope jmm kick fmj ass who I actually like but I like more jmm and pac... I am not a pac hater I just dont like these kind of comments from the guys who are not even in the ring(roach), what did beristain say after pac signed with hatton? he stfu and didnt say anything of course when pac was available jmm team called him out but thats when pac was available...
i think you better concern yourself first on how jmm will find a way to beat floyd. as i said before, floyd and pac are in a collision course to determine this generation's best fighter. it's only jmm who can possibly spoil that if he manages to win vs. floyd. if jmm wins, you'll get your wish for a 3rd fight between pac and jmm @140.
No, a loss for JMM, even if its close against Mayweather is the end of a possible 3rd fight with Pac. The Pac team imo dont want to test themselves against JMM who they know has Pac's number and would rather fight Mayweather. Nacho Beristain said something very poignant about DLH's loss to Manny Pacquiao when he was questioned as to why his pupil JMM could give Pac such a hard fight and DLH could'nt......Nacho said, "Marquez is at such an elite level of deciphering styles, its the same to him whether the fighter is conventional or southpaw, but DLH's main problem was deciphering the southpaw that is Manny Pacquiao......alot of fighters have trouble with southpaws, and I believe that is what happened with DLH. Arum, Roach and the whole Pac team know this, and so they'd really be stupid to fight JMM after a Mayweather loss when they can just as well fight others not as good at deciphering styles as JMM is.
nothing average about that counter right hook which felled ricky the first time. it was a very good one, well-timed and right on the button. kinda like the compact left hook counter that pac felled jmm with in their rematch. i think you better concern yourself first on how jmm will find a way to beat floyd. as i said before, floyd and pac are in a collision course to determine this generation's best fighter. it's only jmm who can possibly spoil that if he manages to win vs. floyd. if jmm wins, you'll get your wish for a 3rd fight between pac and jmm @140.
The guys on JMM's team have nothing but respect for Manny Pacquiao......Nacho who of course feels his fighter was robbed twice vs Pacquiao, still knows that regardless, Pacquiao is a high caliber fighter and has even gone as far in many interviews I've heard when he is speaking of him calling Pacquiao a phenomenon. Thats the difference in class between Nacho and Roach, I've never heard Nacho verbally degrade another fighter. Roach routinely does that these days, and imo thats demeaning the accomplishments of Manny Pacquiao. Roach by stating such things as Oscar cant pull the trigger any longer, and that Hatton telegraphs when he's loading up to throw a hook......is only diminishing the accomplishments of his fighter........he should really stop that nonsense already. Roach by pointing out all these flaws is attempting to give the credit to himself for pointing it out......as if to indirectly saying, "Pac is nothing without me!" ....he should STFU already, do his job, and let Pac do his job in the ring!
It is not my wish for JMM to fight Pac again......that is a fight JMM has no chance to win on the scorecards for obvious reasons. Marquez has a better chance of fairly beating Mayweather, than getting a decision vs Pacquiao no matter how great he looks....... .....and a win for JMM over Mayweather, I would encourage GBP to make an inhouse fight between JMM and Shane Mosely at 145 lbs, since a win over Mayweather at 144 lbs, would prove that JMM could handle that weight to fight Mosely.
