Cotto hitting harder than JCC is simply impossible, and it shouldn't even be discussed. But even if in a parallel universe that could be a thing, anoter fact is that Cotto will gass even more than he usually do, with the added weight.

Roach is so overrated. Even not 100% Martinez is still better than Cotto. If we see the Martinez from the Chavez fight Cotto gets destroyed and knocked out.

Cotto is a tough lil dude and does have some pop, in the first rounds he can drop Sergio, won't surprise, but he needs to land more than one bomb, a masterful, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr type of breakage of Sergio, by stoppage. But that in itself is a huge risk and Cotto would have to have his whiskers nipped and chin will get tested. Sergio is also very brave and dangerous when he is wounded. But tho I do think Cotto is the better, more experienced fighter than Chavez Jr, throws better, crisper combinations, Jr has bigger one punch power, tho he'll only land one or 2 in one round. Sergio took fight ending punches from Williams and that monster hook from Jr, shots I don't see Cotto recovering from.
