Roach and Pacquiao have already said they will fight JMM at 140. But i don't know if JMM wants it. He said in the post-fight interview on HBO that he didn't really wanna fight Pac.
I can see why CockRoach would say this.... Marquez has Manny's number ....after two fights there is only one point that separates them and there isn't as much money in it. Gayweather and Cotto would bring much more $.... So, if Pac is going to lose ....may as well make some $ doing it.
I don't blame Roach for looking after his meal ticket. He knows Pac's getting knocked out in the third fight.
It's probably because he is more focused on Pac's coming fight w/ Hatton than waste his energy delving on JMM which he said he's not interested for his ward to fight, simply because Pac has already knocked him down 4 times let alone beaten him twice. Anyway, if ever Pac fights JMM again, expect his motor mouth to go on overdrive. You need not be sensitive on this.
Roach is making Pac look bad. Freddy always comes out openly talking about only choosing fights that he feels Manny can win. He openly talked about how he felt Manny could beat Oscar just because Oscar was shot and couldn't pull the trigger. There is no glory in that. How does he expect Pac to get full credit from the fans and critics when he is so openly trying to handpick his opponents? After his win over Oscar, Freddy said that he wouldn't let Pac fight Margo because Margo was still at the top of his game. He actually went as far as to say that maybe if he watched Margo fight again and he saw some sort of decline or something like that... that he would consider that fight. You can't just openly say that kind of ****.
He claims to be the #1 P4P and he is beginning to believe it. That's why he wants to fight Floyd and not Pac. But on second thoughts, isn't he ducking Pac now.
Roach was wrong in Morales. Therefore, haters who say Pac fought over the hill Morales were wrong too. Good for Pac's legacy then for beating prime fighters like Barrera, Morales, and Marquez. :good
As long as Pac is winning against illustrious fighters like dela Hoya, Barrera, Morales, Marquez, etc., he will always look good.
Pac looks great to me. I just don't think that Roach's recent runnings of the mouth is doing him any favors.
Roach is the one doing the trash talking because he knows Manny is too nice to hype any bout. Specially he can't even speak english properly.
