I disagree. I don't think Marquez has gotten worse at all...

He doesn't belong at WW, that's for sure, but I thought he performed well against Mayweather considering he was against a guy who was bigger, stronger, and faster.

I still think Marquez will always be all wrong for Pac, no matter how good people think Pac is now. Marquez is a sharp shooting counterpuncher who knows how to capitalize on Pac's timing.

So you admit that Pac asked something unprecedented from Floyd of which Floyd agreed, to, but when something is precedented (judah asking Mosley to submit a blood sample or certain Boxing commisions making you give blood) Pac doesnt have to do it because in your stupid little ******* brain its warranted because out of 40 fights Floyd came in for the first time in his career, overweight, for a fight that wasnt even at 147 but 144, of which Floyd came in 146.

Wow. You *******s really are shameless.

It goes both ways, and I think it would help if team Pacquiao would collectively agree to something somewhere near the middle rather than Roach saying this, Manny saying that and Arum saying some other BS.

This fight is reasonable. This is a good thing for Marquez and shut him up with his annoying interviews in the media that stated "Oh I won that fight, I got rob" threads . Well if we talk boxing math, Pacquiao doesn't really need Marquez but Marquez need Pacquiao.

    Pacquiao - 1 win-0 lose-1 draw
    Marquez - 0 win-1 lose-1 draw

    Yeah...Marquez need Pacquiao

    Here's what we know:
PBF requested that the fight be made at 154
PBF came in over the original agreed upon weight against JMM

It's not too hard to comprehend why team Pac set such a high penalty for this fight. Would you rather Team Pac set a smaller penalty or perhaps no penalty at all and Floyd possibly breach the agreement as he has before?

Pointless argument considering the intend obviously isn't about money that can be gained but to safeguard themselves against Floyd's antics.

The fights at 147, Floyd came in at 146 for a 144lb fight. The fact that Floyd wanted the fight at 154 has no relevance(even though I havent actually seen any proof he wanted this, it just adds to the long line of demands Floyd conceded to make the fight happen, such as glove size, a size mandated by the Nevada boxing commish and the weight penalty).

Floyd has never come in over at a fight thats been at 147, if the fight was at a lower catchweight you might have a point, even though this still has no relevance to Pacquiao refusing a simple drug test.

Why would Floyd breech an agreement for a fight at 147, a weight he made comfortably against Marquez? And why are you detracting from the point that blood test is not unprecedented in boxing and has occured before and will occur again.

AGain, *******s are shameless. Its like they'll say anything to cover up the fact their hero couldnt take a blood test, for 40 million no less. No doubt you dumbies would have been up in arms if Floyd had balked at the ludicrous proposition of paying a 10 million dollar weight fee.

No doubt the fight would have to be at 140. Anything more and we'd see a much quicker and larger destruction than Floyd left with him.

3rd fight should be made...I'd actually like that one 100x better than fighting the Rabbi.

While I agree that $10 million is unsual, Pac's side can easily argued that PBF has ALREADY, some might say intentionally, proven to go over the contracted weight. And not like this is a long long ago, it was his last fight versus an already naturally smaller fighter that had to go several weight classes TO fight Floyd. Would have rather for Pac to ask Floyd to fight at 140?

Pac's drug use is purely are an accusation. There is no physical proof.

Floyd and Pac need to fight each other, simple as that.

If they don't then its bull****.

Pac-JMM 3 is a good fight that shoud happen but not instead of FM-Pac.

NSAC didn't always mandate 10oz gloves for 147 lb fights; in fact as of July 08 fighters have used 8oz gloves on multiple occasions in NV, ie: Cotto-Margo and PBF-JMM. BTW, my personal opinion is that 147 lb fighters ought to be fighting with 8 oz gloves.

I can't recall PBF ever coming in over weight prior to the JMM fight. He however is obviously willing to breach an agreement and pay a penalty if he feels it's worth doing so and again it's been reported that he prefers to fight at 154.

The fact that the fight was set for 147 is meaningless in this regard. If the fight was for 175 lbs there still probably would be a penalty. What does it matter if the penalty is 10 bucks or 10 mill because both fighter would obviously make weight. The penalty is a safeguard, nothing more.

And care to give examples of random blood tests that fighter A demanded of fighter B even though fighter B had no history of wrong doing?

If PBF balked at the weight penalty I would have questioned it because of his dubious past. Not the same as the blood demands because there is no reason to doubt Pac's past.
