I've been saying this for a fair old time.

Need to see what pac does at 135 first though.

if Pacquiao impresses at 135 then i'd like to see him fight Hatton eventually

I thought Pac looked really good against JMM and i think he came in the ring weighing 144/145.

At 137 I'd favour Pac over Hatton.

Not to mention, Hatton has already said he has no interest. He wants Mayweather.

He also said that Manny would be a "fantastic second" if he can't get Floyd. He could fight both guys, Manny first and then Floyd.
I hope that none of those two fights will happen though.

He will not come down to face Pacquiao. Pacquiao will have to move up.

On top of this, he once said that he would like to unify (outside Witter of course, but that is not an issue now). So he has said a few things.

I dont' see why Pacquiao would take this fight if he is just now getting to 135. There are good fighters there to face.

I think the plan is Diaz first then Campbell. After that Pac will be undisputed LW champ of the world(should he win and Im confident he will). For an extra jump of 2lb to 137, I dont see why people wouldnt be interested in a Hatton fight. It would be huge and money speaks, Hatton im sure would drop an extra 2-3lb to get a payday, specially now that I think hes looking to wind down his career.

I think Hatton would move up to fight someone like Cotto or DLH or Mosley before he dropped down to fight Pacquiao. But that's my opinion.

Hey why not, makes the fight even more interesting for me when something of mine is on the line :)

Dropping to 137 will do Hatton no good, and 2lb jump by Pac wont do him harm at all should he be settled at 135 already.

Roach is probably speaking out of his arse. I find it funny that they'd want Hatton to drop to lightweight, but would be willing to face DLH at 147 lbs!:rofl

But what I'd really want to know from that Pac fans, is how they feel about a fight for Pac against either Hatton or DLH, for this fall, right after the Diaz fiasco, and leaving behind the matchups at lightweight that truly can be competitive?

I find that none of you Pac fans want to criticize Pac for leaving behind the most competitve division in boxing in order to cashout against either Hatton or DLH!

I think that you're probably right.
Hatton is a fighter who's best fighting weight is 140 lbs, but who struggles mightily to get down to that weight.

Roach would give his leg for PacMan to avoid Guzman. It's a bit silly ignoring Joan's talent only to fly up in weight and get destroyed by Richard Hatton...

But 1.000.000 PPV is guaranteed, so it's worth getting your ass kicked...

as a fan of pac, i do not necessarily disagree with a hatton fight at the end of the year provided that he carried his speed and power in his coming diaz fight. but i would favor either casa or campbell than a hatton fight. perhaps a marquez trilogy if marquez gets the belt from either casa or campbell.
