Roach says Khan is NOT plan B for Pacquiao

    On front page of BN24. Roach says Khan is a "runner" and "boring" and doesn't want to fight him. Seeing as how Khan is leading plan B for many other fighters, what are your thoughts on Roaches comments?

    My personal opinion, he's essentially saying the same thing others have said when refusing to fight Rigo or Ward (which is generally perceived as ducking).

    I agree. Do you think Khan poses bigger risks to Pacquiao stylistically? Chin issues aside.

    no i think khan would be one of pcquaio's easiest fights based on styles but khan would be more difficult for mayweather thoe

    Khan doesn't have anything other than speed.

    His speed won't overcome the MASSIVE gap in ring IQ.

    I'm not a hater. I just don't buy into the idea that Khan is going to outbox the #1 boxer in the world.

    As far as Plan B's go - for the fans Pacquaio-Garcia and Mayweather-Khan are MUCH better match ups than the reverse options.

    Imo Pacquiao vs Khan would be a more entertaining fight and probably end with a spectacular KO win for Manny. I think Garcia is easier stylistically for Pacquiao.

    Stylistically roach doesn't like fighters for pacman who use lateral movement and move as manny isn't great at cutting ring off
    Sluggers and people who come forward a lot or fighters who stand and trade are more suited
    Ie Garcia

    Khan is more a problem for Pac than he is for Mayweather and so is Danny. However, Pac is more dangerous to Mayweather than either of them and that's because he has no fear or trepidation. He is dangerous from round one to round twelve.

    Considering Roach keeps going on and on about wanting Manny to get a KO you'd think Khan would be a good fight. I think it's got more potential for excitement than a Garcia fight. I personally have no interest in Garcia.
    Perhaps it's true what some have said on here, Khan is much less vulnerable against a Southpaw and Freddie knows this.
    Anyway let's just hope this all turns out to be irrelevant because Pac is fighting Mayweather... PLEASE!

    Same as Floyd, Floyd took Khan completely off the plate after his dominance of Alexander.
