I'm a Cotto fan that thinks Cotto wins a decision in a good fight, but Clottey is very tough and Cotto is not a shoo-in.Making matchups before a pending tough fight is extremely presumptuous.

this is crazy. If anything Roach doesn't want Pacquiao to fight Cotto because Cotto is not a worthy opponent in his eyes. Roach didn't want Pacquiao to fight Hatton at first also.

Fans may want Floyd, but Roach dont and Arum damn sure doesnt. Now it floyd looks like he has slowed any in his fight with JMM then I would expect a full court press for the fight coming from Roach and Arum.

Again, wise decision coming from Roach, and for a good reason. He is afraid that Cotto might beat the hell out of Pacquiao, more than what Mayweather can potentially do.

People tend to forget that Cotto is still a brutal, aggressive, hard punching natural 147 pounder whose lone defeat was from Margarito, who is already banned from boxing because of cheating. He defeated Mosley decisively and brutally tore asunder the collective asses of Judah, Gomez, Urkal and Quintana.

I don't think Roach would want Mosley also at 147. If ever, he might ask for a catchweight fight, from 143 and below, to negate the natural size advantage of Sugar.

Too big and strong, equally fast and athletic, with more or less solid pop from both hands as well for Pacquiao. If he can bench press 300 pounds, you can also expect him to throw Pac in and out the ring for 12 rounds.
