That isn't what I asked you at all. Answer the question that I have asked you numerous times.

there's no doubt that Roach likes his fighters to take fights that he knows for sure they are gonna win. Thing is with Pac, Roach knows he would beat a shitload of fighters. Roach has been saying he wants Pac to fight Floyd for years. So if he only wants Pac to take on guys that he'll beat, and he wants Pac to fight Floyd... then what does that say??

Roach didn't want to give Mosley the advantage against Pac. Pac was just a JrWW at the time and Mosley was a big WW.

look at this video from 6:55

"After this fight with Cotto, if Mayweather won't come to the table... Shane will be next I would say."

    doesn't sound too worried.

The truth is roach didn't want none of mosley until floyd beat him. Roach didn't even want mosley to come down to 142, he even refused that mosley. I'm hoping Mosley shows how great he really is in this fight, but sadly i think pacquiao might have too much for him, and might even stop mosley.

True story. Roach seems to love fights where there is vulnerability, or where a guy has lost a step. This post-De la hoya interview highlights this quite nicely. These times in particular:

6:05 - Roach talks about his reasoning for a catch weight with Mayweather.... To 'make him work to get down in weight' and 'Floyds a talented guy and if we could take something away from him we will.'

6:43 - Roach states that Margarito is in his prime and a fight between him and Manny depends a lot on how he looks against Shane; He goes on to state that they fought Oscar because he thought he was shot.

This interview was before the Ricky Hatton fight.

1:47 - Roach on Ricky Hatton - 'He's not the same guy he was before the Mayweather fight, I think the Mayweather fight took something out of him. He looked pretty shaky in the Lazcano fight...'

Rosch even refused mosley to come down to 142 in the end when Mosley called his bluff. Truth is roach believed Mosley was too tough at that time until floyd beat him.

This is on point. They have literally brought Pac's last 2 oppponents out of relative obscurity (where the hell is Clottey now, BTW?). They aren't even disguising it, at this point. They are making one sided contests, using Pac's star power to make the fight financially viable. There was no demand for these fights, even the opponents were surprised they got the call. These were not fights Pac needed for legacy, ranking, etc. These were carefully selected fights that benefited Top Rank. This is a clear example of cherry picking.

The situation with Mosely is but another example. When he was winning he was "too good", after his "last two fights", this fight makes sense. For those who say they chose Cotto over Shane, because Cotto had a win over Shane, check the facts. Roach said, at that time, that Shane was the more dangerous of the two fighters. They ducked Shane's challenge, let him show his age, and then they made the fight. It is as simple as that, IMO.

Mosley told Roach he couldn't even make 143.

the Pac haters wear blindfolds and only listen to the info that suits them

Here is Roach after Pac killed Hatton saying that they are "definitely interested" in a fight against Shane Mosley

He still wasn't given any chance at all by almost everyone before stepping in against DLH.

Well Mosley is on the downside, old, coming off a loss to Mayweather and a draw(I thought he won) against Mora. So he's an open target right now. Still not a bad target for Pacquiao, who else is better to fight?

And you know what these things are understandable and reasonable. The only problem is people not putting it in perspective when they evaluate Pac's accomplishments at WW.

Can't have your cake and eat it to.

Cotto was an inhouse fight for arum as he promoted both cotto and pac so there was no paying anybody else, they all took bigger slices of the pie, i think i remember arum saying they will make twice as much fighting cotto as shane, thats a pretty good reason imo
